  • Giggle - nice wheels! Your elves were definately out of control yesterday!!

    Rusty are they the pearlescent paints from Oyster Stamps? If so, I bought the offer and used them on my butterfly card. I'm really pleased with them, and prefer them to the Cosmic Shimmer ones my friend lent me.

    Rusty - I'm enjoying the pearlescent watercolours, but actually prefer the Cosmic Shimmer mica powders, which you can mix with water to use as paint too - but they are much more expensive! I bought a big box of paints and got a free small one with it -it's got 16 colours in it but not much of each (I've already used the pink!) it's yours if you fancy a play? They do make a very good job of the paper photo frames - but it takes loads of coats!

    My picture doesn't show the true depth of colour or shimmer, but the butterflies have a faux cloisonne effect and really glimmer and shine. They also mix beautifully and the colours really jump when brushed over the top of Promarkers.

    I'm desperate to get some crafting done today, but still struggling to get the house ship shape after the hols.:(
  • Marg - no worries :) thanks, just thought best to mention as I'm not sure if theres a 7LS! lol x Thankyou about the card challange too I have just blogged the one I have chosen to put forward for it :D

    Just got back from Emily's & I's trip out to McArthurGlen (east midlands designer outlet) & sorry ladies I can confirm the paper shop is no longer there :( There was an empty shop next door to Mama's & Papas, I popped in there to double check if that was were it was & she said 'yes, its gone' :( Oh well.....got some nice jewellery making books from The Works though :D

    The lady from Papermill on-line has sent an email saying she will happily send me a sample of the colour so I can check 1st :T I can't beleave how hard it is to find deep purple paper to match the card I got from the NEC! Fingers, toes & everything else crossed that this sample matches!!!

    Gorgeous sunshine still here :jmight sit outside after dinner & start working some of my costs out, my friend has asked for 25 day invites (the card I blogged yesterday) & 75 evening invites, which are going to be like postcards but sent in envelopes...I know what I'm on about! :rotfl:so its off to work out how many butterflys I need & gems.....

    Hugs & love to all :)
    :wave:Hi, I have a passion for crafting.......I'm always up to something :rotfl::rotfl:

    :j I have found the key to weight loss.....ZUMBA :j

    Wanna b rich Thank you so much i have just had 2 dancing princesses ooohing and aaahhhhing over everything and dancing round the room with it . lol. Carly was well happy the postie rang the bell when he brought it and when she heard it she signed post and ran down the stairs .
    whew got away with it i was checking my promarkers and carly asked what i was doing so i told her counting them to buy some new ones . She went to grandad and signed buying pens luckily he thought she was wanting to draw so i got away with it better be more careful.

    Poor Kaitlyn has a huge bruise on her forhead this morning she was fighting kobie for his toys cars and he threw one at her it hit her straight on the forehead and wasn't half bruising. He's only 18 months old but it scared him . when she burst into tears he did too.
