Am still struggling with my ATC - have had an idea but can't figure out how to do it - thanks for the extra info Gemma

Have left shed door ajar for anyone wanting to send the spendy elves over for safe keeping - will have to look at security as they seem to be getting out far too easily - wonder if I can get bouncer door security elves

This is exactly how my OH was when we had the restaurant. He didn't like increasing prices but in the end it made us the cheapest for certain things here and sometimes people think cheaper means "no good". If we could have sold drink only (as opposed to drinks only with meals as our license dictated) then we would have had all the pub trade as we were a fair bit cheaper on drinks prices!

Yes, it is the DoCrafts mag. It's just arrived, fab quick service from Cutting Edge Crafts.

OH's appt went well but he's disappointed. They'd just changed him to fortnightly appts instead of weekly but his blood results were a tad disappointing so he has to go back next week with the possibility of an overnight stay for a transfusion if his bloods don't improve. Still, at least he is feeling OK and has a lot more strength now and can do more now.

I didn't get around to doing any cards or printing images yesterday, I did a bit of housekeeping on the computer and have sorted and "filed" all my digi images. Blimey - I didn't realise I had so many:eek:. Copies on hard drive and memory stick in case something fails. I discovered yesterday that the spreadsheet my OH did ages ago with bank/savings details and info on interest for tax return etc. had been overwritten with our budget/spends spreadsheet :eek:. Ooh-er, no idea how that happened but it's all lost. We close accounts and move the money if the interest rate is better elsewhere so there's lots of "old" information about interest which we would need for tax return and don't have, and as they were online accounts we can no longer access the details . I think that's one for him to sort out :rotfl: .

Not sure what I'm doing today but we have another gorgeous sunny day - two weeks of it now :T, just wish it would warm up a bit so I could get some of these plants out into the garden, my tomatoes are about 3' high and beans almost at the top of the pole now, it looks a bit like a jungle in my sun room.

Tired Mum - sorry to hear of dispute with DH I bet Mr T & BP don't have this problem when they put their prices up! but I can also see that DH wont want to lose any of his customers as any whiff of an increase sends our customers searching our competitors.....

Craftygranny - Thanks for the link to the pictures, she's got a lovely smile. - Watched a very interesting programme late last night about a young man who had one of the first implants & how hard it had been for his parents to find the right schooling. The consensus was that signing was his first language and always would be but quite naturally the boy wanted to give it up and rely on the implant, sorry to ramble but it was fascinating.....

My spendy elves came out yesterday but were locked up again before they could do any damage.:( I couldn't work out how they'd arrived at the price - talk about cutting my nose off to spite my face......Could I be Tilda?;) May have another go today I can't let them win.
