The spendy elves are dancing at my heels right now! I'm looking for adhesive gems found some on ebay 175 for £1.00 + 60p P&P (then 20p per additional pack) but I don't what color or if it's cheaper else where, also what else should I buy lol
    Care to share?

Happy Birthday Wanna B Rich. Hope you have a super day, sound like it might be once postie arrives.

With regards to anyone leaving, lets not go there. We all know it isn't the right thing to do. We can't abandon ship just because of 1 person so sit tight, ride out the storm & hopefully all will remain intact for when Rusty returns, she needs us to be here when she's ready.

Hope everyone has a nice day.

Thanks Birthday Girl for giving us the heads up about the ignore button, does it mean we don't see her on our computers? (sorry - thicky wifey here) I've never had cause to do anything like that before, how sad but better than the smell of garlic I suppose.

If you've actioned the ignore button, now go and have alook at post 3506 and it will show you what it does, isn't it more peaceful!

Wanna b - I noticed your earlier post about the Basic Grey - I dont know if you were interested in the things but have you checked out Craft Superstore in the Sale they have some basic grey things quite cheap - like the archaic stamps I got some a while ago - I think they have some left. Hope it is of some help xxx
The Wife - -can I ask - do you ever get crumbs in places you really shouldnt get crumbs!!! Or do you have industrial strength cossies to keep them out??:rotfl:

Lastly (for now) - I have talked hubby into getting me the pack of 25 pro markers for my birthday - on my list so far I have 10 which is going to cover skin & hair - are there any other colours you could recommend for clothes i.e. a certain blue that would work well for jeans?? Or nice pinks & lilacs that work well for dresses?? Thanks in advance for any advice xx

I was off to the supermarket to buy a string of garlic to keep the nasties away.

Just a quick one, who sent those dratted elves back down here??? I just bought a [STRIKE]load [/STRIKE] one or two distress inks from Oyster Stamps late yesterday afternoon, they arrived at 10am this morning, fab service.

Oooh I have been trying to order these but it says out of stock all of the time. Did you manage to order online or over the phone?

Well my washing machine has just chewed up its 2nd item of clothing this month luckerly this time it was an old jumper of Alex but last time it was Hubbys new t-shirt I got for his birthday in Feb  I think its time to start saving & looking around for a new one, its 7 yrs old & was a cheap one, is that good for a machine! I'm thinking of one with a bigger drum....has anyone got an recommendations?? Sorry this is not craft related :o x

What a bu mmer, why can't washing machines just conk out instead of chewing clothes up!

Recommendations depend on your budget. My d-i-l bought a Miele which was on offer with a 10 year parts and labour guarantee but it cost best part of £800, but if it lasts 10 years with no extra spending then it's got to be worth £80 a year.

ISE machines get fantastic reviews as well, I'm thinking about one of these when my old Hotpoint finally gives up. You can read about them here and here. Have a search on MSE as well, there are also a couple of threads I remember seeing which are very helpful. But again they're not cheap.

If you want to go for one in a cheaper price bracket I'd check out the Which reports at the library, that's what I do when I'm buying this sort of thing. They're considered purchases which we don't make very often so we want them to last.

Ali I found some recommendations for colours that go well together when I was sorting out my list of PMs. I'll try and find it again and get back to you.

OH is on the last few carpet tiles in the loft, I can get to my desk again but will leave him to it while I get on with a bit of housework. I should be able to get back up there this afternoon :T.

Sorry Ali and Giggle I cant help with "best" promarker colours as I WANT THEM ALL. I am lucky that I can try mine out befor I buy as I get them locally, the colour chart I downloaded is"off" the shade but that is maybe my printer. I know I use cornflower for soft kiddies type jeans and the insides where there is a turnup and midnight blue for a more adult look but it really is personal choice and as for pinks I only have 11 pink to red shades !!!! so cant really help at all
