If you are in anyway connected with Sarah's I have a small business tip - try wording the above somewhat differently! Maybe - I'm sorry you appear to have been having trouble contacting us, I'm not sure what has happened - then make your excuses! Also try ending it with a I do accept that things can go wrong.
Don't call your customers liars, especially on a public forum, it's really not the cleverest thing to do. Apart from alienating all of the regular posters and lurkers you are also likely to be subject to them passing on their somewhat negative view of you! Don't you know the old adage "for every one disatisfied customer you will lose a further ten!" which I think judging by this forum you have already more than sucessfully achieved!
If you are simply a "friend" then I'm sure they are going to love the damage that you have just done to their business!
I never called anyone a liar .. with respect, get your facts straight. For all of you that have promarkers which one would you say is the best skin tone colour one
All five skin tones are useable, not just on people, but also for animals, creatures, and tone work. Promarkers can be blended with other colours, and the neutral colour of the skin tone markers, can tone down darker colours, without losing the actual 'colour' if you know what I mean. They're the first colours I bought together with the primary colours.0 -

Glad you reported this, at one point this morning I thought we had a “troll” and was thinking about hitting the abuse button. All through the episode I was wishing we had a “Please don't feed the troll” smiley that we could use to inform the poster to go away / that we weren't playing
Think Troll is watching how about this :silenced: button to inform them

Thrifty Have you heard anything else re some support for your son. It seems you don't get anything unless you really kick up a major fuss. We have to too it's disgusting that because they achieve more than some outsider thinks they should they get nothing.
Carly is progressing far quicker than anyones expectations . Not that we'd written her off but we did feel progress may be slow.
She's hearing different things each day . She heard the toilet flush and the water running from the tap today and stood pointing and smiling asking what it was. We take it for granted and don't even notice it anymore. It's opening up a whole new world for her.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Why is a newbie, with an opinion, classed as a troll ??
Some of you are starting to read like schoolground bullies !0 -
Thanks for the replies about my blog background. I have worked it out:j
There are different size 'columns' on the backgrounds, and my choice came in two sizes, so I changed it to the other background and it works on my computer. I NEEDED to see my background:rotfl:
Unfortunately, I won't be able to get on the computer for a few days so will have to update later, and will let you know the blog address then.0 -

It's the whole thing and its the normal Poundland, so should be nationwide. Looking on eBay I would guess it is, someone sold 30 odd in one hit!
I think your right about the troll, so lets not feed it anymore and perhaps it will go away and leave this thread to get back to it's nice friendly atmosphere;)0 -

I have kicked up such a fuss over this - the head of the Adult Disability Social Services has locked horns with the head of this Autism Centre, the ripples are still spreading.
Today, I'm a lot calmer and am thinking a lot more rationally. I have been in an absolute panic thinking that our son has to receive support from these people because they are the supposed experts plus they are the only support service here on the island.
Today I've been looking through coldly, rational eyes - from what I have seen so far I don't rate the support they are offering. There is very poor communication between staff and more importantly I'm worried that the care workers are not trained in HFA / Aspergers eg a couple of weeks back, I sat while a support worker offered my son 4 different choices without allowing adequate take-up / processing time. He just zoned out and took the first option and they weren't even aware of this. When he has visited in the past - he has just been left alone with the other lad with Aspergers. I'm sorry but two lads with Aspergers cannot just automatically communicate - they need support or someone to facilitate interaction. If the care worker does not understand this basic principal wth are they doing working in the field of Autism .
What I'm trying to say, very badly, is I'm starting to question why am I fighting so hard when I am beginning to doubt that he will ever receive expert / appropriate care at this centre. Don't know if I'm being clear at all on this. Eeeeh this is one tough journey.craftygranny wrote: »Carly is progressing far quicker than anyones expectations .
