Couple of questions. I know there has been a lot of talk about cuttlebugs, sizzix big shot etc , I wondered if anyone had tried the sizzix sidekick machine. The only reason I ask was I have seen one cheap, however from what I have read you can only use the small embossing folders with it, and all the ones I have seen are in a set of 4 ( 2 small, 1 medium and 1 large) so for each set of 4 you will waste 2 of them. I just wondered whether it was worth considering or if it would be a bit cheap and nasty. If not, does anyone know whether the dies and embossing folders are cheaper on the big shot or the cuttlebug?
Glad you went to the Dr's hope you feel better soon.
I've not used the Sidekick, but a friend had it and you can only use the small embossing folders in it. You won't be able to use the Cuttlebug folders or the larger Sizzix Folders, nor Nestabilities. The feed opening fits a Sizzilits die which measures approximately 6 x 6.5cm. You can use the Sizzlits Alphabets and the 12" decorative strip dies. It's great for die cutting but not so good for embossing. The dies and embossing folders on the CB and BS are generally interchangable, but I don't think the Sizzix Bigz and XL dies can be used with the CB (maybe someone can confirm this).0 -

Twinkle, hope the painkillers kick in soon!!
Just popping on quickly, I called back the dentist and have to go there for 2 to be seen again, thing is that today the pain has spread all over my mouth and the side of my nose is so painful it feels like it will go pop! I slipped in the shower half an hour ago and hurt my leg, but as I did I banged my head and felt a pop in my gums, I had a poke about with my tongue and I have an abcess in the roof of my mouth!! so I guess the pop was part of it moving? But it explains all of the pain
Bit thankyou to THE-WIFE for the cold pizza :rotfl: I will try and catch up properly later xxRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
