I've unpacked a few more bits - these are the other punches that I bought along with a large bubble style paper crimper and Fiskars craft scissors and the other shows the ribbons that I bought.

Trying to find a space for it all!!!! Need some more plastic storage containers!!!!

  • Carmin thank you so much for sharing the images, they are lovely. My next question is, is there a nack to printing them the right size?

Pointofnoreturn you have some lovely craft bits there, I've also got the big fiskars punch, I havent used it much, so if you come up with some good uses for it, let me know!

Evening all, hope everyone hasn't eaten too much chocolate!

Had nice 36 hours at the caravan but gosh the wind was cold and I was very glad that DH was happy to do playground duty with DD.

    To catch up:-

Flourgirl - My packages both arrived thank you. The pictures are wonderful and so generous of you I can't wait to have a play at colouring in. Your card is lovely and is proudly on display. Can you please direct me to what a Hug in a Mug is it sounds wonderful.

Choccy - I will pm you my details re Princess Tilda, thank you.

Craftgranny & Marg - Thank you for the information about photos on the blog, trust me to be trying to over complicate it.

Rainmac - I'm very excited about my orders, just glad that the Stampin Up one I will collect at my class so can sneak past DH! Hope you enjoyed the safari park and hope you weren't tempted to feed the children to any of the inhabitants.

Marg - I will let you know when the cheque arrives, thank you. Can you please let me know is the Boundary Mill any good. We pass it each time we go to my brothers in Skipton but never have time to stop. We are going again on Saturday and I'm wondering whether I should persuade DH to stop?

PONR - Hope sleep is happening at more normal times. Thanks for the link to the flower tutorial it looks super. I have just ordered the SU scallop punch so will have a go once it arrives. Love the pictures of your stash, those butterfly stamps and punches are wonderful as is that Doily punch.

Lei - The Tilda stamps are here with free postage until tomorrow night http://www.craftsulove.co.uk/magnolia.htm , sorry don't know how you do that clever here and the word links you.

Right off to finish a decoupage Family Guy card now. Taking DD to see Princess and Frog tomorrow, didn't get around to it at half term and now it is in kids club so I'm very happy to pay £1.50 a ticket instead!

    X

Tired Mom - Thanks, I thought my sleep was getting better but then woke today at 1.45pm!!!!

I'm just making some of those flowers!! I made one last night and quite easy. Just pricked my finger with the needle I was using to make the holes and got blood on the one I was doing and had to punch more!! I'm using an EK Scallop Circle punch size 1 1/2 inch which I bought when I was in the US in November and it seems to be fine.

TiredMom thanks for sending me the spendy elves - but you can have them back now!!

I am now the proud owner of a cuttlebug thanks to my fantastic future MIL who bought it for me for my easter!!!! Isn't she fab!! I bought loads of other stuff too - gems, flowers, brads, candy, paper, nesties, embossing folders so seriously take the spendy elves back! My OH kept laughing at me jumping about like an idiot playing and showing him everything I embossed and cut. I made my FMIL a card but I can't blog it until I know she's got it in the post cos she checks my blog but I've got a 50th card to do for someone at work so I'll blog that when it's finished and show my new toy off. I never realised they were so much fun. OK you've guessed it I'm excited!! (too much chocolate I think!!)

    Happy Easter :easter:
Hoorah! I was eating chocolate at 10 past midnight last night after my Lent fast... :EasterBun
Hope you have all had a nice Easter break and the weather was good for you all wherever you were. :)
I have commented on peoples blogs.. There are some stunning makes on them .. :T

For those who suffer from them, how are everyones headaches?

Tomsmom glad OH had a successful time in Bristol.
Tiredmom hope you had a bril time in the caravan.
Thrifty It is a good idea to read comments before they are published.. never thought of that before..
    Craftgirl1960 hello..
Flourgirl Have you been to Lancashire before? I agree with Marg it is gorgeous countryside around Pendle I haven't been to the place Marg mentioned in Clitheroe but The Emporium is an interesting place to visit for a brew or bite to eat. The Tobyjug in Whalley is also really nice, they sell the best scones ever... Are you planning on visiting any craft shops in the area perchance???
The Wife Sorry to appear thick but what is SU scallop punch? I can see what the punch is but what is SU?
PONR Wecome home ..Absolutely fab stash.. bet you can't wait to get cracking on it.
Carmin Hello.. Thank you for the snaggings from the net...:)
Popkins Hope you feel better soon, it sounds awful what you are going thru.. and poor Oap fancy going thru that so many times in such a short space of time.. poor you.. hope you get a lot better soon too..
NannyB Sorry to read you are having stresses in your life at the mo.. hope they lessen very soon..
Hogshead Hello.. you showed a lovely card, really nice creation.

We had a great time at Alton Towers thanks for saying PONR The weather was very kind to the boys on Thurs and then swimming on Fri, it was organised the right way round cos on Friday the park closed early afternoon.
I managed to find a couple of craft shops while I was down there, it was accidental this time and not pre planned, I only purchased some reduced mags that had some nice freebie papers in them. I need to get crafting and creative with all my stashes now...
Mind you, a visit to Hobby Craft sounds a good idea while they have such good bargains available... Maybe tomorrow....???
Self imposed crafty stash ban: started again 22/8/10 1 whole month stash free!
I must not buy stash, I must not buy stash, I must not buy stash! :o
