Have just put my cake card on my blog.
  • I've had a fab day. DH took me to Oyster Stamps and let me choose a fab load of stash, then if that wasn't enough, he took me to the McArthur Glen Outlet and let me visit the Papermill :D

Hope all the NEC'ers are back safe and sound and that you got plenty of stash.

Charlie I got my promarkers from Cowling & Wilcox online quite a while ago when it was quite cheap. I think you have to add VAT from what I can remember and the p&p is £4.99 if you spend under £60 I think, altho it wasn't that much when I got mine. I think some of the girls get theirs from Joanna Sheen's web site, she has free p&p. I can't remember how much the pens were at the show I went to a couple of weeks ago, I wasn't really looking to be honest, no doubt the NEC 15 can advise you better as to prices there..
The cards on your blog are lovely.. I like the Pepper and friends paper, I haven't quite brought myself to use it yet, I am still in the stroking it stage ;)
What a shame your Nan didn't get the card you made, it was lovely. The stash from c&c looked good too, I like forever friends :)
Wanna b What did you get from Oyster Stamps? Did any of the distressed inks fall in your basket? Did you manage to get the 10% voucher for McArthur Glen and the loyalty card from Papermill? What was the manager's special? Sorry to bomard you with questions.. I am just interested..:)

Well NEC girls, hope you all had a fab time and got lots of lovely stash..:D
It was quiet without you.. Tell us all... Did you see the fez man? What did you get?
The girls left behind have been really really creative and made some gorgeous cards.. and cakes...
I am still trying to work out how I can write comments on peoples blogs .. the only ones I can comment on are the ones that accept anon.. can someone give me a clue as to how I can access any of the ones you can go on apart from anon please????
If I can comment on blogs as I go along, my posts on here won't be quite as long as they are at the mo... :D

Well I'm very sorry to say I eventually found a picture of a cake I thought would be squishy enough for the Wife to have a soft landing in and couldn't get it to appear on here so I gave up!

Hassy - I think the answer may be to have a blog? Or have you already got one? When I post on some blogs they 'sort of' ask me for ID, I click 'Google account' under where I've commented and it knows who I am!! This is in addition to the word ID that some blogs ask for. I'm very new to blogging and don't fully understand it yet. I've had a blog for 12 months and only just started to use it. HTH
