and the main thing have a fab time NEC 15 I will be thinking of you a bit sad to be here at home having been the last 2 times but have no pennies to get there!
Is there anything happening today for us left behinds? I only ask as someone set a challenge for the day here on the last NEC trip.
I have the day off work as had booked it as leave so I could go and I'm home instead. So if anyone has any ideas or wants to join in a mini challenge then let me know!

Someone set a challenge then for the lonely few here. I set the bra and pants card challenge last time. I have a 30th card to do today for tomorrow but i don't really have the get up and go a nice challenge may get me in the mood.

How about " a card with a cake" as a challenge - nice and easy and open to all nonNECcers.

I loved the idea of the bra and pants challenge last time and was sad to miss it whilst at the NEC!!

Thanks for the suggestion of a cake card I am gonna make one!!

There was only about 4 of us on here last time everyone was at the NEC and that did the challenge so instead of choosing a winner i gave out goodies to everyone. It didn't seem fair the others missed out.

I am going to do a cake card then i must do my 30th. I wanted a tatty ted image with 30 on, i found one but it has some writting on i need to photoshop off and clone the bears foot as the writting goes over it. As it is only for my friend and not selling it i am sure it is ok but i know copyright is a bit of a minefield.

Right then - the challenge is on - I'm going to set Sunday evening as the closing date just because I know sometimes it's a rush to get it done, take the pic and post it online.

Bring on the cake!

I haven't gone to the NEC so can I join in the challenge please? What do we need to do just post a pic on here by Sunday? Are there any rule other than it having a cake in the picture?

ooh a card with a cake . I love the party cake wbr left behind. Strawberries my fav.

Was hoping to sort out the rest of the craft room today but just had a silly accident and hurt my knee. I slipped in the kitchen but we can't see anything where i slipped. It sure hurts and i can't put any weight on it now. and believe me it has lots of weight to carry. Oh well lots of painkillers and prayers . Hopefully should have plenty of time to do a cake card now.

Thanks Marg just don't seem to be able to keep up with the thread at the moment! Hard to keep up with the blogging too and then I have to fit crafting in and then there is life in general LOL!!!
