Poppy a lot of us use Promarkers and you can buy single ones from Joanna Sheen website she is the cheapest online and its free p&p. You could maybe buy a few basic colours and add to them when you have funds.
  • Thanks flourgirl just been on that website and am going to get a few sets of the 5 packs as they seem like good value.

Poppy if you can check the colours you will be getting as sometimes you can get duplicates
  • O I see, I`m thinking of getting the skin tones and the Autumn pack to start with.
Can you shade with the promarkers? Sorry I`m rubbish at stamping stuff.

  • Just popping on quickly:

Padster - sorry to hear about your mil

JHB - if that is your box of cards, methinks the other cards need to be redistributed to a drawer under the desk, the back of the filing cabinet, behind the drinks machine or sent back to said owner with a message to get her own bl**dy box.
  • Anyone interested in the pens, mad about cards has the papermania brush marker ones rrp14.99 for £9.99 pack of 12. You can use these on the stamps and for colouring in. Seemd quite reasonable to me.

I keep finding myself drooling over things on these websites at the moment, think if I get a weak moment I will give in and get a few bits!

Just spoke to DD, she says the other cards are very basic, and that they brought them in yesterday (DD's day off work). What has really peed me off though - they've put them all together in a larger box... and have thrown my box away! I'm absolutely fuming - I made that box and could have re-used it. Bl**dy cheek of them!!
If it wasn't so darned early in the day I'd be tempted to try out the toffe vodka I've made, maybe it would calm me down a bit! :p
    Rant over :o

ETA: Just checked my email - thanks Rusty :D - you've managed to put the smile back on my face :D
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

Hello after a yet-again absence...this time due to the dreaded norovirus - we've been struck 3 times in 6 weeks!!!

Haven't had any time at all for crafting but the baby is due in 6 weeks (!!!) and I'm getting all excited about girly things and frilly dresses!

Is anyone here a crochet enthusiast? I've seen some adorable crochet beanie hats for newborns but I'm hopeless at knitting and such. I'd love to commission someone to make some for the baby - thought this would be a good place to ask.
