Tinypablo - sorry I can't help that much - I've always cut the flowers off the stem! I've seen a few people tie a ribbon around the stems - that looks quite pretty! I've only just started using the bigger 3d flowers but I think I'm going to have to buy some different envelopes - you can buy box type ones that they make for decoupaged cards.
Choccy - well done for winning the fight with your doctor!
Paddingtondoo - glad to hear that it reached you and you liked it - I was worried that one of the flowers would fall off intransit! Don't rush getting mine sent off - sounds like you have other things to deal with - sorry about your m-i-l.0 -
Only just logged on, with 5 pages to read, but must reply to a couple of posts on the first of those pages.
Flourgirl So very sorry to hear of Scott's passing, so young, so tragic. Condolences to all the family.
Choccy Happy Birthday, sorry it's late but I hope you've had a fabby day.0 -
Just a quick post as Tesco's have Elizabeth Shaw's Mint Crisps for £1.50 for the milk choc ones
Nite all! Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
Flourgirl, as far as I know it's 15 for the NEC including me and also my neighbour. A week to go girls, is everyone getting excited???
Glittermum, ok I will sort out your stash swap. I'm happy with anything, you have lovely stash x:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Snipped
Wanna-b-rich The ink it up stamp pad I have is the pigment ink one, is that the wrong type of ink??
I am trying to tidy my craft room today, my plan is to try and get things organized once and for all, but I have been doing that for ages and it doesn't seem to last
That's the right one, it's slow drying so it should be fine.
Flourgirl - LOL @ your itchy boob, I thought it was going to be a variation on when you have an intchy palm.
Rusty - I sympathise fully with you. My DH is away most of the week too and I find it hard being on my own. I know it's hard for him and he has very little choice in whether he's at home or away, but he has only himself to look after, where as no matter how I'm feeling I have two other people to worry about. I hope you manage to get a better nights sleep, and feel a little more postive for it.x0 -
I made a card using some of my new buys, I had so much fun!!! I've blogged it for you all to see!!!0

Lol at the boob dance! Very excited about the NEC now - is there somewhere to take more cash out there if I don't take enough? Hehe don't tell my boyfriend he's already convinced i'm going to come home with a Craft Robo
I've made a new baby card (it's on my blog - link under my homepage) so that's two in the last week, which isn't too bad for me as I don't seem to have time to do anything at the moment.

Forgot to say earlier that your card arrived to day Melissa - it's absolutely gorgeous! Was going to get yours sorted tonight but MIL has been rushed into hospital so made a get well card for her - they don't know what's wrong with her at the mo and are waiting for the results of a CT scan before maybe operating
Aww sorry to hear that padster, hope they can sort her out xx0 -
TinyPablo I stick the flowers down with glue dots if you are keeping the stems on I would use a quickie glue pen
Well didn't manage to clean my craft room yesterday, but made a card which is on my blog, todays task is to clean it out think I am going to go to Wilkos and buy a cheap bin to put all the paper scraps in as they seem to be all over the floor at the moment
Going to see my friend today, she has had to let her dog go to a shelter after he bit her little girl, so am going round to tell her she had no choice and did the right thing as she is in bits about it all0
