Micro dots ordered, thanks for the link.
Will look into the gems once I have more time & a rule nearby to gauge sizes (looks up to see DS has left his little bug rule here by PC )
  • The Wife - it looks like you can - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CozOYcefJic so for the bigz dies it would just be a case of measureing your opening (oohh errr!)

Evening all, I've not been on much as really busy since announcing my closing down sale. (Ironic)

Rainmac I've forgotten all about the card swap, I'm really sorry. Am I too late? What do I need to do? Is there a theme?

Craftygranny Thanks so much for the beermats. I'm gonna have to get started soon so they're done in time for Christmas Fair.

Now, I quite often get freebie mags (possibly in advance of ringing me about advertising, lol) and I currently have an extra copy of Quick Cards (issue 79) and Cardmaking & Papercraft (issue 84) and will happily send them to anyone who wants them. They don't have the free gifts though.
If you'd like either one then PM me (first come, first serve) and I'll send them out.
Gonna go now as nearly bedtime.

Thanks Donna - I hope things settle down for you soon.

Crafty Granny - I thought Elzybells shut down weeks ago, I've just been on and bought loads (I think it shuts on the 1st Oct) Thanks for the reminder.

I'm definately off now. Night all.

Thanks PONR and Addams for the info. I bought my mat, and now I can't wait to try!

This is the Sew Easy. Only available on QVC UK at the moment. I have a paper piercing tool that I haven't even tried yet, but I loved this - it makes a variety of patterns with just the one head, and it has four!

There was something else I was going to post about but I've forgotten now. Oops.

Don't think I can check blogs this evening, I have headache and need an early night. I will check everyone's tomorrow I promise - I have some cards to blog too.

Take care everyone - Night all. xxx

Oh great - did you get the mat from the link that I gave?? Hope they send it to you quickly as I've not used them before but will do on my return.

I have a plastic template for stitches but I thought you used a pen with it but I could just use a piercer and then stitch with thread which would look loads better! Sew Easy looks good but is fairly pricey isn't it.

It is pricey but DD1 is paying for it as it's my Christmas present. ;)

I bought the mat too (thanks for the link), and some Elzybells stamps. I'll have no money for Hobbycraft at this rate.

  • Hello ladies - we have finally managed to get our internet back on - it only took sky a month!!! I am so chuffed - I've felt really isolated without it! I have no idea what's been going on since I've been gone so I apolgise for not commenting on anything!!
This house is so much nicer than our old one - we all love it - we've got two living rooms which makes things so much easier - Elliot's got his own little playroom now, the kids' room is sooo much bigger too - they've finally got the space to play with their toys. I'm happy because I've got a little yard so that I can hang out washing ( I sound so sad don't I???) It feels so much cleaner and fresher - the only trouble is that because its bigger we need to buy more furniture to fill it!!!
I'll be updating my blog in the next few days so that all the recent challenges will be on there again. I haven't made anything for about 2 months - I hope I'm not too rusty!!! I haven't bought anything either - well only some RUBs, I'm going to try and use some of my old stuff up before I buy loads more - well papers anyway - I've decided that I've got way toooo many!!!
  • craftfairies, that's brilliant, thank you, it looks like i can with one of the many plates I have. Off to scout around for the Tim Holtz die, i don't think I'm gonna be lucky I looked a couple of weeks ago and everyone was out of stock

Nice to see you back Melissa - seems like you have been 'missing' for ages!!! Glad the new house is working out well for you. It's always nice to have extra space isn't it!
