Gemm Well done , your makes are always lovely so Im not surprised.
I spent this afternoon stripping the main bedroom so am absolutly shattered but happy that another job is done:j
The house is coming together and everyday is more like a home, we both feel so contented here.
Our cats seem to love it too - they went in a cattery for the first time ever from the thurs till the monday afternoon we missed them terribly but without a doubt was best for them - after there inital investigation on arriving here they seem so settled , lots more room for them . They are not pineing to go out which I thought they would and infact has really surprised me.
PONR I think I may need to meet you at the airport and go through all your goodies:rotfl:

Gemm Congrats on your DT post. I think your cards are always stunning so it's very well deserved.
ScattyJan Glad you're settling in, sounds like you've made a good move. It's great that the cats are settled. Are you going to keep them in for a few days? Hopefully they wont want to try and go back to their old home.
Nicola00 Welcome to the thread. I don't subscribe to mags, I buy the Creativity mag every issue, comes out every two months, but rarely buy any others unless someone on here tells of a must-have freebie.
Rainmac Glad you enjoyed Ally Pally. Looking forward to seeing your new stash.
Craftygranny Hope Kaitlyn has enjoyed her birthday.
We've had beautiful weather today. Did a few hours in the garden this morning, then puppy-sat for DS so had two pups chasing each other silly and arguing over chewy sticks for a couple of hours. Once her sister had gone home our puppy was creamed so I snuck off and had a couple of hours cardmaking. I've put one in the usual place, will do the other tomorrow.
Blogger was playing silly Bs again, hopefully it's OK now so I can go on a blog hop.0 -
Toms mum . Glad to hear you're getting a little more time to craft. You must be shattered as well as the dogs with 2 to watch.
Thank you Kaitlyn had a wonderful day . She's been thanking everyone all day and telling us what a lucky girl she is. Don't know where that came from. She made us all laugh this morning she's been after an hello kitty mini skateboard for weeks and when she opened it she jumped up and down shouting thank you thank you i've waited all my life for one of those. Oh the joys of being a five year old.
Scatty Jan . Lovely to hear you're settling in and the fur babies. You must be exhausted all that work packing moving unpacking and builders. Hope it's finished for you real soon.
Nicola . Thanks re the facebook info. As tom's mum said the creativity mag is a good one but is only every 2 months Well worth the wait though. Cardmaking and papercraft has some of the best freebies around so worth subscribing to.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20
New challenge finish birth sampler by end of the month
No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -
Evening all, I am EXHAUSTED after Ali Pally, but it was great!!!!!!! My feet are killing me though. I bought a big shot for £60 with free rubber embossing mat, free die and user dvd. Bought some nellie dies, there was an offer on nesties for £16.99 but seems so much money compared to other dies. Promarkers were really cheap, got 10 plus a fine liner for £11.50. The every crafts a £ stall was maaaaaaadness, I boght 3 8by8 chipboards for £1 and going to make memo pad blocks with them. Bought some acrylic stamps, some squizzers and a tape pen and a pack of 8by8 papers with roses on (roses are my favourite flowers). Saw Barbara grey from clarity stamps, anthony from pinfalir and Anna Marie from Anna Marie designs. Also dicovered a new craft shop has opened near me so went yesterday and bought distress ink, a water brush, black embossing powder, and some other stuff that I can't remember. phew. Have all ready had a play with my big shot, I love it! Which are the best value for money dies? hugs to all those that don't feel well xxxxxxHmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!0
