Morning everyone. Well DD and her family have gone. It was a bit manic as her 7 year old never stops or shuts up and wont listen so it was a bit difficult with a puppy and him on the go :rotfl:. Weather was horrible, rained most of the time so it meant DGS couldn't go out to play with my other grandkids who live close by. At one time there were 4 adults, 4 kids and the puppy (the cat had skidaddled, she'd had enough) so it was a bit manic. I've cleaned the room and en suite so it's my craft room again now and tried to make a card up there yesterday but failed miserably. It just didn't happen
. Never mind.
I've read as much as I could, forgotten most of it. Well done Scatty Jan on your latest win. And anyone else.
Gemm Pretty laptop. Mine is boring black but it does the job, not my main computer though. Have a great day out, I hope the weather holds for you.
WBR Thanks for the anniversary wishes. We didn't do anything special though.
Melissa Welcome back, glad you had a great time.
Marg Good luck appealing against the ticket, what a bummer!
PepPop That's a neat trick with the Cuttlebug plates, thanks for the link. My B plate resembles a banana so I might give it a go. Hope you find a nice house in your dream location, good luck with the house hunting.
Izzy Can't wait to see your card. Don't forget to let us know when your blog is up and running and has something for us to see.
Well the sun is shining (how about that - children go home and the sun comes out!). We have landscapers coming tomorrow to start digging up the hard landscaping and relaying it, should take about a week. Good job it's only a tiny garden, would hate to think how long it would take if it was big! We've got pots to move into next door's garden (only temporary, it's the empty house so no-one will mind) so that will keep us busy today.
Sorry if I've missed anyone. Have a great day all.0 -

Good Morning!
It looks quite bright here this morning, thank goodness! as I'm off to one of my oldest friend's milestone birthday party at lunch time.
One of the other 'girls' & I decided to get her a voucher for her hairdressers. Well, it was just scribbled on the back of a bright yellow business card and I've had the job of disguising it a little! I made my first ever mini pizza box using what I thought was a lovely pale gold card only to find that made up it looks like an ordinary brown cardboard box so now I've got to disguise it even further! - wish me luck!
Thank you for you kind thoughts about my ticket I'll let you know how it goes...........
Oh! thank you also for advice about rocker blocks - I got two large ones yesterday but not tried them yet.
TomsMum - sorry I completely missed it was your anniversary - hope you had a good day.
