Thank you!! OMG it's a good job i don't live near Cambridge!

Hehe, I know. I actually live an hour away, but my friend took me as a birthday treat. I was expecting a spending spree, so when my family asked what I'd like for my birthday I asked for money! I was lucky enough to get £100, so saved it up for last week.

Of course it kind of tumbled into a continued spending spree, which has led to me to buy a further load of stuff from eBay for christmas cards, and the worst spending spree of all - promarkers. :(

I swear I spend more time buying crafting bits, than making stuff! It's so addictive!

Jazzabel - is there anywhere you can see what effects the other blades have? Just wondered if it was worth ordering more or do you think the two you get are enough?

I'm not sure, other than the pictures they show on the blades themselves.

I only have the two I got with it - and both are great. Much easier than punches or scissors! I think I will get the scallop one at some point, but I am perfectly happy with the two I got.

Also, the trimmer is quite small - it fits into a carrier bag for storage. It has a section that pulls out if you want to cut 12 x 12 paper.

Where are you? I am in Northampton so easily within driving distance of Cambridge but I daren't go there, OH would divorce me  I got my BigShot from Capture the Magic but ordered it online. If you are anywhere near me have you been to the Coleman's Craft Warehouse at Rushden, well worth a visit or two...

I've got my fingers and toes crossed for your result xxx

It was me! I got mine from Capture the Magic. I visited them, but their postage is only £1.75 which is pretty good!

You get the straight and Victorian blade with it. They have loads of others for £2.95 each.

My friend has been crafting for years, and she went on a crafting holiday. Everyone used her Woodware trimmer, and at the end of the holiday they visited Capture the Magic and every single one bought one of the Woodware trimmers, despite having another brand already! She was the one that suggested I get the Woodware one.

    :o

I'm in Essex, so afraid not! An hour is about my driving limit as a passenger, and Bedford is two hours I believe.

I think anymore craft shop visits are going to have to be postponed until 2011 at this rate, anyway!

They are very friendly in there - I asked about a back issue for a magazine I'd missed, and she quickly phoned her supplier and ordered one, and said she would email me as soon as it was in.

One thing I would note - it's not very wheelchair accessible. I was in my wheelchair, but a lot of the corners were so tight I had to get out in order to look around properly, and then sit back down. That's fine for people like me who can walk, it just hurts to do so, but not for those that need the wheelchair at all times.

I think we were in the shop two hours, as well - so certainly needed the wheelchair!

Yay! I have won you over with my Woodware trimmering ways. ;)

Mr or Mrs Woodware, if you're reading this - give me a PM and I'll send you my address to send the commission cheque to.

I bought my 3mm high tack DST from there and they were good and it came quickly.

I was in Lidl today and found a pack of 12 mixed peel offs for £3.99 - quite nice and a good variety. They also had packs of design papers for £2.99 and other bits and pieces.
