Jellybaby - you get the A and B plates in the box with the cuttlebug. You need a C plate to emboss and die cut with other branded dies (I only bought mine yesterday, and I haven't tested it yet).

I was in Hobbycraft, I did ask about the silicone embossing mat but the Sales Assistant hadn't a clue, so fingers crossed I don't need it yet as I'm hoping my nestibilitlies come tomorrow and I want to play. :D
I bought a embossing mat to use with my nesties in the cuttlebug but to be honest I never use it I find it much easier to use a embossing tool like this and just leave the shape in the nestie after it is cut and then run this round gives the same effect.

thanks the wife for that link it was really useful! Can you emboss using any cutting die with the cuttelbug is you use an embossing mat? x

you can get an embossing mat from oysterstamps or cuttingedgecrafts for the cuttlebug. You can get a cuttlebug for less than £60 with free p&p at both of those shops if you don't want all the extras or flexipay that comes with the create and craft bundle. Have fun deciding! I have a bigshot myself and I love it.

well done to our latest winner :)

Thanks for the tip Dragonllew. That's a big difference in price! I'll buy one of those instead!

ali b did you get your punches from oystercrafts? I dont think I will be ordering from them again, 2 weeks and still no punch!! I wouldn't mind but they have always had them advertised as in stock, its a good job they were cheaper than anywhere else and free p&p. I will have to chase it up tomorrow.

Congratulations to Artydoll on winning the challenge.

Hope everyone going on holidays has a great time.
