Liz What one was it you were looking for?0 -
Rusty - pm'd you.
Rainmac - Yes, I agree apart from cuddles, spending your hard earned cash on pressies for nieces & nephews is one of the best bits of being an auntie!
I had a bit of a surprise yesterday - I've been following the blog of the florist who did the wedding and they'd put a pic of me on it labelled as mother of the groom!! I phoned them up pronto to get it removed. Apart from the fact it was a grim photo I didn't want to upset anyone by it. Mind you, the bridegroom is really lovely and if I did have a son I'd want it to be him.
Lizalloareds - Could you check with their phone help line - even discontinued there may be a store with one in stock - I'll happily phone my local stores (Warrington) for you if it will help, let me have the details. (If all the girls on here did similar maybe we'd create demand & they'd re stock it :rotfl:)
ali.b - hope you're feeling better as the day wears on.
Dragonllew - how's things with your DH today?
Wanna B - glad to hear you had a good time last night love the expression 'buff - ting' not one I've heard before.0 -

Gemm - hope you have a good day! cant be much longer left until you get to leave? xxx
Jowri - I have a scoring board, a MS one, I do use it but not very often. I also have a blue one somewhere which was just a cheapy £10 one and has a couple of embossing bits on it, I will see if I can find it, if I can and you want it then it is yours? Let me know. Hope everything goes ok today! xxxxx
Well I got a bit more sleep than I thought I would, so up and alive, Painter arrived just before 8 and is busy already! he is doing a good job so I need to persuade OH to let him come back and re do the hall, landing, and stairs! Not heard anything about the carpet fitter, so looks like OH may be fitting it himself later on today! Going to try and get some more ironing done ..... I am still ill lol ... although migraine has eased a lot, although still there a bit but that could be normal.
I know I have promised people things, I haven't forgot, I have your names scribbled on a pad with what I need to send. Poor Choccy is waiting for stash from me still.....
Anyone seen choccy? hope she is ok xxx
I am still negotiating for a leaving date unfortunatelythey do like to drag their heels, on the bright side though its not been as bad being back as I'd previously thought. Still not good enough to stay though! lol
hope your feeling better soon xx0 -
Hi all,
This is a bit of a weird question (i think anyway) but can someone please tell me how to use backing paper that has a design on it? What i mean is i have got some SMIRK, DOVECRAFT PEPPER AND FRIENDS and FOREVER FRIENDS papers that are like these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Smirk-her-6x6-glitter-effects-12-sheets-/220601341516?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Crafts_CraftingPaper_EH&hash=item335cdd564c
but i am stumped at how to use them, would you stick a topper on them or ..............
Thanks in advance for any help and i hope everyone feels better soon. Big hugs to everyone who needs them :grouphug:

CG77 - welcome - I hope you manage to get your school cone made - I'd be tempted myself to try it but I'm off to my Mum's for a visit soon so I don't think I'd get the time plus the size of it scares me a little!
Dragonllew - I hope your DH recovers soon and that you get a diagnosis.
Dawnteabag - its good to hear from you - I'm glad to hear that your eyes are better!!!
FifiFolle - Fab challenge card - love the stickers, your baby cards are lovely too - I love that stamp!
PepPop - good luck with the flat sale!!
The-Wife - I think I remember reading on a blog that a woman had been reported on ebay for selling discs full of Hanglar and Magnolia images - there were hundreds of images on each disc!
Marg - I hate having a cold - it makes me feel so miserable so I don't blame you!!!
Ali - I hope your tummy recovers soon and that you don't feel too bad at work!
Jowri - I hope this morning went okay for you.
Soma - thanks for the links to the Magnolia challenge blogs - I wasn't following one of them.
Rainmac - I hope you have a nice day tomorrow - I've always wanted to visit Bath.0
