Phew busy day!! Viewed several flats today with my sister and then got her to drop me off so that I could go to a local craft shop and then onto Hobbycraft and Tesco!!!
Bought a few bits today - a large stampendous stamp from the local shop reduced to £1.75 and then at Hobbycraft I bought some box templates, some card blanks (on offer £4.99 for 50), a pack of coloured card (offer 100 sheets for £5.49),and 3 lots of fimo (3 for 2). In Tesco managed to get some of the 27p ribbons and brads - thanks to Scatty Jan for that.
Congrats to Dragonllew on your promotion.
My local craft shop had the pearl pen for £3.15 but only had a yucky yellow colour and nothing else!!!!!The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -

Hi Elysia,
Not a silly question at all. I'll try and explain it in a way that makes sense (I hope).
When you have found a challenge that you want to enter you need to go to their blog site and keep it open as a tab in explorer or whatever browser you use.
Next open your blog up and go to the post that you want to put a link to a challenge blog in. Type out the name of the Challenge say MSE 'Out of this World'. Highlight MSE 'Out of this World' (either with the mouse or the shift and arrow to the right button) and then click the link button within your post. It is the one that is just before the Align left button and before the capital T with some coloured squard to the right of it.
Now go into the challenge tab that you have open and copy the website address (will begin http://) and go back you the post within your blog and paste this address into the hyperlink box that should still be open in this page. The press OK.
Now go back into the challenge blog and somewhere under all the DT cards, there will be a button called 'Add your Link'. Click this button, and go back into your blog post, and copy the address (http://) and past it under URL on the challenge blog, type your name and email address (the email address won't show on the link to your card) as requested and then click next step, when all three boxes above it have been completed. Then hey presto, your card to the challenge will appear on the challenge blog.
Hope this makes sense to you if not let me know and I will try to explain it another way.2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -
Hiya Ladies - I just thought I would ask on here.. Would anyone like a 'Schools out, sports in' voucher that I got from Asda? I dont have any littluns and it would be a shame to see it go to waste.. PM me if you would like it and I will pop it in the post for you tomorrow. The voucher is for one free childs activity session at particpating centres..
Message for Point of No Return - I will be posting your bits tomorrow too, sorry for the delay also (I have added some 'extras' in to apologise too!) xSo much for 'Money Saving'0 -
Thank you so much, I will look them up and see if I can convince my OH that I need to visit the Range and Dulem Mill, as we don't have these shops anywhere near us.
Congratulations on your pomotion - you will still have lots of time to craft

Oh dear I broke my stash ban, I know, I'm weak..... Had a look at oyster stamps and ordered two MS punches!!! Twice over the weekend I had them in my basket and just couldn't bring myself to press the button but today I caved in and ordered them. Please don't tell my DH... shhhhh.....I just hope he is out when the postie comes. Does anyone know what the delivery is like from them please.
Dragonllew congrats on your promotion
Wanna-b sound like you got some fab bargains.
Giggle Well done. £200 is a fantastic amount, you must be really pleased.0 -
Tiredmom There is a promarker sale on here, free p&p but I can't remember how long the delivery takes, sorry.. http://www.cowlingandwilcox.com
Sorry, can't get the link to work...
Thanks for this. I have just ordered 4 of the packs, 2 more wallets and a little easel stand which I thought may help with photographing cards, or it may be that I'm just pants at itI have ordered the other 10 colours I wanted from Angel Crafts. Only problem is with me going away to the caravan at the end of the week it will be OH taking delivery
.
Can anyone tell me please what is the knack to colouring the edge of the card blanks i.e scallops with promarkers without it looking awful on the reverse.
Thanks for the info as well on the different exhibitors at the show.
