Right bed time... only 3 flights due in tonight 2am 3-40am and 5am !!!!! Oh the joys of living at the end of the runway. Think I will close all the windows then we might get a full nights sleep, trouble is the lights light up the bedroom :(

Hope you all sleep well xxx

  • I have spent ages trying to sort out my blog - those stupid TCBOTB people have had their site down for most of the day - so after creating panic with everyone they then ditched us!!! I have found another background at shabbyblogs.com and spent ages changing my background and text colour to match!!! I would have liked a 3 column one but have no idea how to change my template to make that work!!

I have been very unmotivated today - wanted to make some cards but had no inspiration whatsoever!!! Will try tomorrow instead!

rainmac Thanks for the advice. He does love the countryside so I'll take him for a drive the next time and get him to talk. I think it's his work that's getting him down but I'll keep trying. Thanks for sending me the book - I'll look out for the postie. I second your renting of craftygranny's OH out - when I show OH craft stuff he just looks at me funny and says "Is this a curtain conversation?" In other words "nod politely and say it's lovely"

dtb - ouch hope your eyes are better today

craftygranny Do you know anyone who has access to warehouse cards. I got mine through my work - do you know anyone who could maybe do the same. I have Makro one and can get access to a Booker one and I order all the stationery for my work - what kinda things are you looking for?

Giggle I thought you'd sat your bike test - talking on which how's the new bike anyway?

    Congratulations Ali :T:T

PONR You can't change to a 3 column template through Blogger, they don't do one. But there are ways to do it, I found that out yesterday when I was searching for new backgrounds for me. It actually took me ages to work out what a 3 column one was :o, almost kicked myself when I realised :rotfl: . If you google "3 column template" you'll get lots of sites up but this one was recommended on the site where I got my background from. I haven't tried it as I'm quite happy to leave mine as a 2 column one.

Hope you get some inspiration tomorrow. I haven't been able to get to my craft desk today, everything had piled up at home and I was on a major catch up plus we had our first dry day for almost 2 weeks so I had to tidy the garden up too.
  • Thanks TomsMom - have bookmarked that to investigate later!!! I've had enough for 1 day lol!!!!

Giggle - thought your OH had just bought you a bike? I presumed you were already a biker! I am so jealous as it is something I always wanted to do, both my mum and Dad are bikers, although Dad has a quad over in Bulgaria now! Mum still has hers though!
Yes he did get me a bike i just havent passed my test yet lol
I just have had to much going on but i must pull my finger out and get on with it no point having a bike just to look at

Oh I bought my stash of DST today .... 10 rolls ! 99p a roll which is cheapest I have found of the stuff I like as at the glitterpot it is £1.99 but I had forgotten that I had already bought a pack of 4 rolls of 1inch stuff from £land!! ..... by golly that stuff is sticky :rotfl:

just adding my 2 cents - have you ever thought about getting an ATG gun? I LOVE mine and can't believe how I ever did without it, it makes everythhing so much quicker and I only ever have to use DST now for really small stuff. ;)

if I want to add a shimmery sheen to a project at the moment, I use my mica powders mixed with water in little spritzer bottles :)
