Oh, I just had to deal with a huge spider on my own, and had to do it without flapping as Dylan was in the room. The first attempt was to throw a pile of baby wipes at it which enraged it and made it charge straight towards me, second time was a better coordinated throw and stamp. Aaagh still shaky, Dylan is now asking why I stamped on the spider and I don't know how to answer that?

Thats so funny I have just spent the day on the forest with 11 4 yr olds pretending that all their creepy crawly finds are lovely and wonderful, all the time cringing and thinking ughhhh get it away from me. Then for some mad reason we built bug houses so that next time we will find more

Oh don't! I'm not keen on crawlies but I do have a fairly bad spider phobia, to go with my massive phobia of eating fish and needles, I'm going to have to work hard not to transfer any across to my boy.
