Hello all, long time no post, sorry! I've been sewing, sewing, sewing, thinking about sewing and not much else. The horrible ex is still being a pain despite warnings of an injunction from my solicitor but I'm not too worried about him finding me on here now I'm a bit more rational about it all.
I haven't really been thinking about what I'm wearing, just grabbing what I can from my wardrobe in the mornings, I don't think I've been too much of a disgrace though!
I'm going to do a blog in a bit (don't faint!) but be warned, it won't be very exciting, mostly just the things I've made lately.
I'm not getting much time on the computer, partly the sewing and general busyness, lots of appointments and annoying necessary stuff but I promise to try and do better, I'm settling in to the new regime now anyway!
Hope everyone's ok x0 -
Oh, and OOOOOH at the new look forums!0

Yes it's all change isn't it?! My phone just has a bit of a fit at the whole new thing lol
glad to hear your sewing is going well mariel, and daisy I hope that you've managed to relax at least a little. I think your mum is totally right to complain, the docs haven't treated you well recently at all!
Had a nice evening at guides we decided to go to the park and they basically spent an hour and and a half playing on the swings / an impromptu rounders game until we lost the ball in a hedge. They all seemed to have fun though which is the main thing.
So exhuasted, and my weight is starting to
get me down a bit, tried on some clothes before which used to look ok and are now snug, but in a flabby way, which given how I've been running so much more recently kinda frustrates me. It's not like I eat a lot of junk even.oh well.

Hi all
Sorry I haven't been on here for a while, have been lurking on and off but unable to keep up with the chat. Anyway, I thought it was my duty to come here to report my recent bargains. I got carried away in the CS at the weekend... got a blue/white ditsy print Quiksilver skirt for £4, GORGEOUS pink/white flower French Connection skirt for £5, a black/grey striped H&M skirt for £2, a pair of Ravel shoes for £3.50, a pair of New Look mules for £2.50 and lots of housey things... the most fabulous of which was a Spode china teacup and saucer.
OMG it is just beautiful and only £3. It's very like the one below, but the pic doesn't do it justice. It's now proudly displayed on my windowsill!I also got a few Le Creuset things, a huuuuge Fortnum & Mason hamper basket for £2 (!), a gorgeous antique porcelain salt pig and other delights. The CS fairy was very good to me this weekend!
p.s. I'm still using the old version of the forum, I don't like the new one.

Probably not mariel, I hardly have an appetite recently so usually have to make sure I remember to eat which doesnt always happen0
-
That might well be it then, especially since you are exercising. I have a friend who doesn't really eat. When she is going through a phase of eating she invariably loses lots of weight.0
