didn't have the best evening due to the fabulous ex but ended Up staying at a friends house to cheer me up, have just been for a wander round their local shops, saw nothing I liked for my topshop vouchers or anything :-/

Am now off home to change and wander into town to go to the library etc Nd then have a look in the sewing shop...then home to laze..it's so sunny!

Try on as many different styles as possible choccy. I've worked out I don't suit the elasticated/ruched waist type ones or jersey fabric (too clingy!) but there are so many different styles of straps and waistlines and fabric in the maxis around at the moment that I'm sure you'll find something

How do you get on with these Alex? I have the nautical version and I love them but they make my feet bleed and I'm just wondering whether they'll get better after wearing in

It was the first time I've worn them and they're not that comfy The front of them is very stiff and would have rubbed had I not had tights on as well. I might bash them in a bit before I wear them again.

Haha I have that problem all the time so usually end up having one day of pretty shoes and the next wearing some comfy boring ones which is sad but hopefly the evil ones will all get gradually better..

oh how Cool, ppl just went past in a petrol dinghy on the river! Lol

I have so many pairs of shoes which I'm hoping will become comfortable and so I just slob around in the same boots all the time!

Well, errands run now, just made myself a big jug of pink grapefruit squash and am settling down to sit in the garden for a few hours, then off to a friend's for tea later

I'm just back from grandparents, drained and emotional once again...argh, I'm such rubbish company for them but they claim they don't care.
Once Dad's finished cutting the grass I think I shall sit outside, maybe a nap in the meantime.
