    Hello lovlies,
We got back late last night, DH has taken Dylan to swimming lessons while I tackle the laundry! The hotel and resort was amazing and we all had a great time, the weather was not as hot as I'd have liked it but perfect for Dylan and nobody got sunburned or even tanned much! Food was delicious and I seem to have put on about 1/2 stone so I'll be on the diet thread for slightly longer than I'd planned to. On the second last day I had to ask Mum to help me with the zip that was resisting being done up on my lovely Maxi. Ooops!

Alex, that maxi is great and hurrah for officially being "small" I bet you leave the tag sticking out accidentally on purpose like me!

Retro, shame about the playsuit, I wear footless tights under mine for a bit more decency. Great about the sewing machine though, have you made anything yet?

DB - Sorry to hear you're not so well. I hope you do manage to get some more of the shake down you.

PF - When is your birthday? I didn't realise it was so soon.

I'm sure I was mentally planning to comment about other things but it's gone now.

    Hope everyone is OK.
    xx

Hi Vicki :) Glad you had such a good time!

I'm loafing in the garden at the moment (hurrah to whoever invented laptops and wireless broadband!) so just have a flowery short skirt (Tesco) and a green trimmed vest (Monsoon clearance) on. I'm not planning on going anywhere or doing anything very much today :)

I have been checking in and catching up but bogged under with work, kids and degree !
still loving my shorter hair which is good, but have a new problem.

I really want a maxi dress, have tried on a few, however I always look pregnant in them !!
What am I doing wrong, I'm a size 12, have broad shoulders and back due to competitive swimming for many years and am 5ft 9. Just don't get it am I destined to not be able to wear one!!:(

Hey Choccy! I don't think your doing anything wrong hun, we all have things that dont sit right on us,
like...my body shape at whatever weight does not suit anything bodycon, for example, no matter how much I might lust after a bandage skirt or dress!

    Hmm,
righty, off to grandparents as soon as Mum is ready
I'd rather walk, but should be glad I'm allowed out.

I know what you mean Daisyb, just really annoyed as used to wear them when I was younger pre kids, maybe I should try a straighter one rather than a billowing one hmmmmm? May also help if I don't take the kids shopping with me and take more time trying on!
