    It is, calcium deficiency :(

Maybe time for a bit of meal planning and online food shopping? Or maybe just time for me to shut up and stop nagging you? :rotfl:

Oh PF .If your nails are suffering so badly, just think what's happening to your bones and teeth.

I know :-/ I think it's the fact that recently theyve been painted a lot without base coat..which will have dried them out more, now they're really flakey iykwim..

I can't stomach milk, used tk have to have calcium tablets with food when I was younger, I dint think it's lactose intolerance or anything, just that if I tried to drink a glass of milk, it's always made me gag :-/

But yeah..just hate how many tablets/ supplements I seem to have to be on recently :'(

Hmm, well dark green veg has some so that's a non dairy start. What about googling vegan calcium sources, that'll give you some ideas.

I'm totally dairy free so don't have the option of milk/cheese etc, but soya milk is tasty in porridge and it's usually got extra calcium in it - might be worth a try?

Or perhaps, if possible, switch your supplements to a more general one with calcium in it too?

I would definitely tend more towards getting more moisture into your nails then.

I can't stand milk either - I am slightly intolerant to dairy but I love cheese, just have to limit how much I eat. Definitely another vote for soya milk here. Aren't pulses and nuts fairly good sources of calcium too?

Thank god there aren't lots of newbies for me to keep up with! I'll take time to catch up with everyone but I should get there eventually!

I don't have any dairy except ice cream, butter and cheese (the fun ones). SOya milk tastes gross too. Apricots and avocados are good sources of calcium too I think.

Today I am wearing black cardi and fitted top, grey flared high waisted trousers and red pumps. I've been to an appointment at a school to sell some books (hopefully) I'll probably get changed into jeans in a minute.
