Another blog question. How do you find blogs to follow - is there a search function?

Vicki - If, like me, you've listed your interests, favourite music, films and books you can click on each individual thing and a list of bloggers will be brought up with the same interests as yourself. That's how I've found a couple of soul sisters who share a mutual love of jumble sales and vintage dresses.

I'm not dressed yet. J's showing the Beetle to a prospective buyer so I'm hiding in my office.

    Morning all :)

Hope your dog is alright Lost. Mine is poorly atm so we've being a nit naughty and let him sleep in bedrooms.

Work was SO busy last night, i'm guessing first proper payday after chirstmas. And to make matters worse I had to wear a large white and red 'Challenge 21' tshirt over my dress so my make up all sweated off. Sexy!
I'm happy to report Barry M made it through my shift with only a few chips (though I had to make about 6million jagerbombs so I don't blame it really!)

It's my mum's birthday today we're going out for dinner. Really not sure what to wear!

Are you from up here (Im in Durham)? Ive not heard anyone outside the North East mention jagerbombs! They are eeeevil things!:rotfl:

sorry I have probably asked you this already I cant remember lol

It's heartbreaking, isn't it, Retro? I love classic cars and love going to the shows.
We had a beautiful convertable Triumph Herald in French Navy and I still rue the day she got sold, same with our previous Beetle.
This beauty is a '68 model in British Racing Green with a leather interior but J's just bought an orange '71 VW Variant and needs the cash to do her up.
We've also got 3 VW campervans sitting on the drive!

Oh well, now I remember why I hate Tesco so much on a Sunday. C'est la vie, at least I'm in for the rest of the day now!

I like this thread, very inspiring!

Today I am wearing slobs as I am a bit hungover ;-), but yesterday, whilst getting to the state of being hungover, I wore:

    Black leggings DP £10
Black and white polka dot dress DP £28
Irregular Choice Union Flag shoes £55
Angel Wing necklace Preshaus £11 (very chuffed with that last one as it's the same as the glitzy secrets one, only the glitzy secrets one is £19.75!)

And the hairdresser camerolled my hair at the sides, and made it all up and spikey at the back and put feathers and half a can of hairspray on it for the bargaineous price of £5!! woohoo!

I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off :o

  • Oh I feel worse than before, think I have got my sisters cold or something :(
feel like I'm wasting a day by doing nothing though :(

Oh Im so jealous its my dream to have a VW camper! Since retro is so "in" now the ones that are good to go are at extortionate prices and unfortunately we dont have a garage in this house we are in now so no place to put a restoration project unless we hired a lock up. My step dad has a Bedford camper hes restored its beautiful...theres pics of her on my facebook :)

I have to console myself with my ugly bug (multipla) now and the prospect of going to the Ugly bug ball in May lol not the same though!
