Urgh, styes are so painful, I've had several over the past couple of years and don't have any advice to offer. I've never found anything that worked.

    Today I'm wearing:
3/4 sleeve beige linen shirt - Next
Knee length brown skirt - Mexx
Knee length brown boots - La Redoute
    Various silver jewelry

Hope everyone thats having a bad day, feels better soon x

daisy, yes please to running away! i just got to work and feel like crying even more now i'm here..

but i tried to dress myself cheerful today and have just been told i look nice in yellow....

bd013370_xs.jpg<--- that would be the yellow rose print dress from tesco..it's got a kind of heart shaped cut-out on the front, and a cute patent belt..

i've added to it my cropped blazer, black tights and a patent yellow bag and pair of kitten heel slingbacks, both new look eons ago...
no pics today unfrotunately as i managed to leave my camera at my dad's house last night :(

Dressing cheerful is a good idea! I was gonna stick shorts and a tee on, but might dig out something a bit brighter, not in a blogging mood regardless :o
Got blood tests at 1ish, so quiet morning,
have a feeling there might be some post-appointment retail therapy. Hm. If the weather holds I plan to stay out for a while, maybe get a coffee and sit outside one of the small (cheap) cafes with a newspaper.

It takes ages to make a coat Daydream! I allow a full day which obviously includes running round after the kids, cooking, cleaning (although not much of that ever gets done!) etc. Just picked up a voicemail from the shop saying she's sold the original one I took in! It's just frustrating that I have to wait til Monday to buy more supplies.
My daughter's got a basic skills assessment at the college she wants to go to today (the one that offers decent social support which she needs) so if there are any spare fingers could you cross them please?
Hugs to anyone needing them today =)

Grr...having a bad makeup day. My eyeliner is uneven, and a litle gloopy and I'm having that thing where you know you should stop, but you just keep going, thinking maybe you can make it better, but it gets worse and worse, plus heavy which looks worse anyway

Outfit, not cheerful colourwise, but a compromise on slobby comfort wear!

    Black tee: New Look
Chiffony black dress with pinky-red and green floral hem and neck detail: New Look
    Black tights: Boots
Fine wire necklace with single pearl: Gift from friend
Tiffany heart dangle ring: Gift from parents for 21st

Shoe wise, and cardi wise not sure yet, will decide that nearer going out.

Lost, I had that kind of makeup day yesterday, I'm contemplating not wearing any today.

I'm feeling a bit bleurgh today. Not down, just not quite on top form.

    Outfit is:

    Indigo skinny jeans - DP
Grey ribbed vest top - Primark
Navy blazer with grey trim - New Look
    Grey plimsolls - Primark
    Pearl studs - Accessorize
Blue "a" necklace - Sunday Girl
    Silver ring - Primark
    Silver sequinned headband - Primark
  • Aw I'm sorry so many of us are feeling down/off form today *hugs* I'm feeling pretty similar, got a bit of a iffy tummy today :( woke up at 5am wide awake and had to force myself to stay in bed and doze, as a result I feel like it's the middle of the afternoon already.

In better news - my temp job are keeping me on until the end of the week, hurrah, so a few more £ coming my way and I'm on the last borning box of archiving, so I'll be sorting leaflets this afternoon, hey if they're going to pay me I'm happy to play around making the leaflet display look pretty.

Have updated my pics from shopping at the weekend :)

Today I'm wearing a white shirt, black trousers and black and white peep toe shoes, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the drizzle doesn't get any heavier or I'll have wet feet later!

Char I love that dress, is it a recent purchase?
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

Well, I wrote myself a list of things to do last night. I do the first one which is call the estate agent and the flat we want is still being advertised despite being let over four months ago. It was so gorgeous too, 2 bedroom en suite balcony ARGH!! But nevermind, the search begins yet again. I have £25 to spend at lush so that is something to cheer me up :). My boyfriends watch hasn't turned up so called them and they have given me a £5 voucher to cover the cost of postage huzzah! Now just going to apply for some more jobs :)
I hope you feel better soon queen, I hate having a iffy tummy it really makes your day bad if it lasts!
