piratefairy wrote: »Oh god :-/ in Cardiff, finally after my plan of leaving at 10 got shifted bc to leaving at midday as friend wasn't ready

now we're at the hotel, and I'm getting annoyed with her :-/ she's one of these ppl who seems intent on planning everything.
I'm frustrated because she doesn't want to do anything (ie shopping) today before the concert in case she gets too tired. And she doesn't want to leave the hotel too early in the morning because she wants to get her 8hrs sleep. Ugh, I've paid for a hotel so tht we could have this afternoon / tomorrow in the city, and she needs to be home by 5 tomorrow (which means leaving here 2ish) but she only tells me this today!
Sorry for the rant
Nightmare piratefairy!!!!!!!! That's very unfair.
Does she just want to sit in the hotel? Do you reckon you'll go shopping without her? xo Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

I might do tomorrow morning, we're stayin nearer the arena for the concert, I'm not sure how far we are from the centre..ugh I think she's just planning on staying here at the hotel til we go for tea before the concert. In three hours. I wish I hadn't bothered staying would have been easier to just drive home after it finishes :-(0

pirate- what a bummer, theres nothing worse I think than knowing shops are close by and not going - or is that just the shopaholic in me;)0
-
I'm just annoyed I bothered going to the trouble of booking a hotel to give us more time when we won't be spending any of it in the shops lol0

Ok i'm up and dressed an feel a lot more human. Still very delicate though. Been to Asda (wasn't allowed to look at clothes) and bought a DVD (500 Days of Summer) that goes on your ipod too, amazing!
Lost - I love your wii fit laughing workout. If you want a really good laugh you should get Just Dance, the moves are so funny.
That's really annoying about your friend PF. I'd go shopping without her!
Have a feeling i'll be on here a lot tonight. Currently got my brother and his friends putting up a tents in the back garden so I will be hiding away.0 -
PF I'd go shopping without your friend too.
I fel the same going out with friends, I get tired so easily, part of the reason my social life dropped away, so if I were your friend I'd be pleased you were getting out and I was either having a soak in a hotelbathtub or a nap.0 -
PF, yes, go shopping without your friend, I knew you should have taken me instead!
Having had another play with the machine I was annoyed that it wasn't working very well today, and then I realised that the thread was on the wrong way round, all is fine now!
I feel so tired though, Dylan was up 5 times in the night and DH didn't get home until gone 2am so he was tired too although he did do a couple. I think this evening will be a very early night for everyone.0 -

Oh poor you.
I think you're probably more annoyed that she didn't tell you beforehand, I do sympathise.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Yeah it's really the fact that had I known that she wanted to be home, I would have just driven back after the concert finished.
I've said I want to shop tomorrow, and will stay in this afternoon as a compromise..0 -
Hello lovelies, remember me? Hope you're all well.
Got back from India just under 11 hours ago. Goa was as beautiful as always but whilst we were well into our second week I received the awful news that Mum had collapsed due to an undetected serious illness and despite our best efforts we were unable to get home any earlier due to the Icelandic earthquake. Needless to say the remainder of the trip has been a nightmare. We're off to the hospital shortly but the news is bleak and there's nothing anyone can do.
I will attempt to catch up with blogs and gossip over the weekend, I think I'll need some diversions over the coming weeks.
Goan
