monsoon often does them with a half lining...I wonder if joules are doing them this year?

I've had a couple of pairs from Monsoon (sale) in the past and the fabric is good quality. They've also had a nice waistband that sits very flattering without causing overspill!. I found the sizes on the ones I bought do come up quite generously and they give a touch more during wear.

Retro, that sounds exactlt the kind of thing that Dylan's been doing. Just small but not acceptable. Like pouring milk all over the sofa so he could swish it around, things I can't just let him get on with IYKWIM.
I've tried a firm no, explaining why he can't do those things, I've lost count of the number of time I've said about the plants not liking being dug up!
It's nothing major, I'm generally happy and he is too but like you say, every little thing is really draining. DH just can't see it as he never has to look after Dylan totally alone for 13 hours straight! I'm not saying he couldn't do it, I'm sure he could but then he's realise how hard it is.
I shouldn't moan but it's nice I'm not on my own with this one. Everyone else's 2 year old is seems to be really well behaved!

I bought what I thought were nice linen trousers from Oxfam online last year - they're cream with a gold pinstripe and looked lovely in the picture. Unfortunately in real life they look like pyjama bottoms :D

  • Haha yeah I know what you mean my neighbour has a little boy 5 days older than Jas and I always think I can never hear him having a tantrum lol

Oh does help but like you say its not the same when they havent been doing it all day, but we are trying to be consitent with her so she knows that she cant get away with thing with Daddy either.

Generally shes fantastic. I think I need a break out of the house now and again though so Im going to have a look at the leisure centre for classes just to give me some space.

Is it acceptable to wear a nude skirt with black tights? I'm so not sure, apparently you should just dress how they dress in hof, and theyre smart but casual i.e. no suits but on trend!

    so not true vicki!
ex's little girl was a freaking nightmare when she was 2 - she still is now, but was worse then, perhaps not helped by the fact he's not the best with her..spoils her, and no boundaries :S

I would think so but I would team it with a black top too so the skirt stands out on its own iykwim?

I wouldnt go in with the idea of dressing like the others, as you have your own style and that should shine though and they may be looking for someone with their own mind :)

Yeah, I want to dress as myself really! What i'm worried about is I've never seen a woman in there over a size 10, and i'm a 16!
  • Well show them what a stylish size 16 woman looks like :) Im sure no one will take into account what dress size you are honestly.
