Congratulations Mariel, I'm not surprised though, the coat is beautiful.
Happy birthday Tsabo.
Vicki, love both the maxis - they look fantastic with your hair down as well. No fear of me ever wearing a playsuit - apart from being too old, I've got legs like a builder!
Nice day here, I can hear next door with his lawn mower out - he needn't think he can make me feel guilty, ours gets done when the garden fairy comes :rotfl:We've got a friend who's a tree surgeon who does our hedges and lawn, and quite often just comes round and does it when we're out, so I'll get home and garden fairy's been! I have to add though, there's nothing fairy-ish about him.
Currently wearing:
grey and white floral fitted shift dress (Tesco sale £7) Must say, I'm really impressed with this, it's heavy stretch cotton and good quality - looks quite expensive.
black cardigan
nude tights
pale pink wedges (Pied a Terre)
I feel a bit overdressed for work - I think it's the tights and shoes. Might change into gray opaques and maroon shoe boots.0 -
Chick watch: crack has appeared in a second egg.

exciting Lost!
Ohh I got a butternut squash earlier, so happy. Just prepped it and I hope it lasts long enough in the fridge before it goes bad as it's a monster one!
And I got the best post ever today

Ooh Daisy, you're making me want butternut squash now. Except I have no idea how best to cook it. Any suggestions?

Only twelve
nine would be a good result.
Alex, I bake much like daisy, but with no oil. For dh I add a teaspoon or two with butter. Roast is nice too, but not great for diets. I just like it baked/steamed then mashed with a fork on my plate. Best of all though, IMO, is butternut soup.0 -

that would be a great idea. would you be able to add a mirepoix (some chopped celery, carrot and onion)? To get some diversity into you? If it helps I soften my veg in water/stock not ft of any sort. To get veg into kids I used to put a blended mirepoix into pretty much everything when I was nannying.0
