I should do shouldn't I - I've only got to pop out quickly tomorrow and the rest of the day I'm at home so maybe I'll ease myself into it gently tomorrow! Haha I sound so pathetic, it's only clothes!

Yes you should! And it's not pathetic - clothes (and self image, etc) are important. Going outsde your comfort zone is a big step.

How did the disciplinary go? Any chance of sacking him or moving him?

No I think smart office wear is much better too, but as they are allowed and everyone wears them I'd stick out like a sore thumb in business dress! (Its a well known national company with several offices in the UK)

They relaxed their dress code a couple of years ago now, but the problem now is that people are pushing the relaxation to its limit and turning up in all sorts. there is a no trainers rule, but people come in wearing those "daps" or "pub shoes" or whatever you call them and say "well they are not trainers" when they are pulled up about it and get away with it.

I'd rather people wore jeans than dull work gear. I have a real hate for black polyester trousers and it's all that most people seem to wear!

Yes I can't stand evil black trousers either.
And it's a small business vicki, nowhere to move him to.

Ah such a shame. I had a relationship with someone in my team at work which ended in me being dumped pretty harshly. It was hell.

Night all. Thanks for the warm welcome.

As I won't get a chance to post until late evening tomorrow, I'm going to be super organised and list tomorrow's outfit now:

    Gap black mini dress
Zara black boyfriend cardi with gold buttons
Bright pink tights (inspired by Daisy's blog posts)
    Office black ankle boots

All I have to do now is go and iron everything (you didn't believe me about being organised did you?!).

    Night xx
