Hm, pondering what to do tomorrow, other than nip to Tesco to get some veg that has a longish shelf life...unlike today when everything was yellow stickered (and only 10% off, grr)
Need to get my first half of my course submitted, postponing starting the second till I have a better idea about hospital and if I'll be able to take laptop..internet not so important as I can post the work if need be, but laptop is vital! If not will have to see if I can defer or something.
Hmm
I guess as brother is rapidly working his way through all the food in the house, I could do some baking!0 -
Hello we_shop and silaqui! Get chatting
Oooooh, you might regret saying that!
It's ironic that I'm posting on a money saving site because I've gone a bit mad this month and bought lots of things on the credit card with a head-in-the-sand attitude. But I was soooooooooo bored with my wardrobe and really needed some new things.
PF - thinking of you. Keep your pecker up. x

Welcome we_shop
OH has now gone home so I am just having an hours peace and quiet before bed.
Ex's are a pain. Mine still haunts me and we have been split up for 7 years and divorced for 3! I'm just so glad I didnt have any children with him.
PF, I know its easier said than done but try not to let him get to you.Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -

I am loving your UO haul,
though it's a shame Goan is in India right now, she'd soon whip you and your spending in to shape!0 -
Hi Daisybella, thanks for the warm welcome! Glad to know it isn't just me who struggles, I can imagine it would be good to have a hoard of your own personal fashion critics on the other end of a blog - as long as they're all honest!
I think I'd be a bit shy though to put myself out there like that! Maybe headless shots...:rotfl:
Why not start off with a month or so of photographing your outfits? Not necessarily for blog purposes, just so that you can have a look back after a while and try and judge what suits you and perhaps some new things you could try?
I've just been clearing some pics from my camera and I must say, I'm quite pleased with some outfitsI perhaps was in a bad mood that day or hated the photo at the time for whatever reason, so didn't necessarily believe the blog comments (and people are generally lovely with their comments btw) but looking back at them, my opinion has totally changed. It's very cheering!

Alex, I love all the outfits you post, it's great to see how you've got more confident in your choices since you started your blog too..whether you've noticed it or not0

Ha ha! :rotfl:Yes, I think she'd have a few words to say about my spending! But the coat was a super-bargain cos I was going to buy it anyway (I know it seems a bit mad buying a winter coat at this time of year, but it's still freezing up here in Scottieland) and it had more than 50% off, but still...!
When's Goan back? Just so I know how much time I have to drain the high street before I need to hit the chazza shops!

Aww thank you lovely. I'm getting there in terms of noticing it - I think it was doing the ironing that weirdly clarified it in my head. There are so many more interesting things in my wardrobe now and I'm well and truly out of the mould of jeans, vest top & cardi. It means the ironing takes a lot longer though :rotfl:0

The main problem I have is knowing what goes with what! You all seem to have a knack of putting outfits together wheras I havent got a clue and tend to "play safe"
I read some of your outfits and look at your blogs and think WOW I wouldn't think of putting that combo together. Also I cant remember the last time I wore a skirt or dress as I just dont know what to "do" with them, as such!Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -
Blah, thank you all..I'll be ok, just annoyed at myself for letting him still get to me when I keep thinking i'm ok and moving on.
Kinda no point in blocking his number, as I still have to work with him vicki, but i guess I could.
Hehe a fellow shoe hoarderi still am not counting them all for you..
