    Porridge is lovely Alex, enjoy.
I've shared the doggy bag from yesterdays dinner and had Thorntons chocolates for my lunch which is very naughty. I've only had 3 but they're so rich. I'm going to have something more nutritious for dinner this evening. I'm thinking of chicken thighs with pesto and parma ham with loads of veg and new potatoes, need to go to food shopping urgently today as we're getting low on a lot of things plus down to the last toilet roll.

I ought to think about today's meals actually. Hm,
and Mum wants to go to Lidl and Morrison's tomorrow to get stuff for over Easter..we'll have family and friend's calling in throughout Sunday for Bro's 21st so should make a list for anything I might like there...

I'm getting quite good at keeping myself busy with mindless yet practical tasks :p

uh-oh, just had an e-mail from boohoo.com announcing up to 70% off in their sale. must resist!
  • did you ever get round to trying out the soya nuts daisy? I had them for breakfast this morning with soyaflakes and milk, and melon on the side ymmmy!

and the again for lunch with a prawn salad and roasted butternut squash with red onion yum yummy yummy yum!

OH is up in Liverpool, just picked up the keys to the new apartment :T he's off to have another look at a the place, I still can't quite believe we move cities in 2 and a bit days (yes I know I keep going on about it) all the packing is nearly done, at least it's kept me out of the charity shops this week!

I got on the scales today (always and only weigh on the 1st of the month) and I'd lost 4lb which is a bit shocking because I've not been doing anything different and my weight has been stable for months (give or take 1lb up or down) can only put it down to stress because I haven't been exercising or eating any different, quite bizarre really. Funny how when we want to lose weight it's really tough and when we don't want to it comes off :rotfl:

Outfit today is plan jane again I'm afraid, blue bootleg jeans, black v neck t-shirt, blue & white stripe casual shirt and blue converse. I've just washed my hair and realised my hair dryer is packed in a box somewhere in the depths of the cellar so i'm just going to have to put it in a bun and hope for the best!

Queen, I bought soya nuts, haven't worked up courage to try them yet, but will!
I hope your feeling happier about things today?
  • I am thank you hun, just had a bt of a melt down yesterday and felt super overwhelmed, I think I still feel like that a bit but am dealing with it better! I'm so impatient, I just want to be moved and settled in now!

They'll keep for ages, so maybe you could have a few in a small salad with some butternut squash, they go great with sqaush :D I eat them wih everything tho, they also go well as a topping for apple and yogurt :D

  • why must you resist boohoo? if you've got the money to spend there is no harm in treating yourself...not that I'm the best role model for shopping ;)

I've been looking for ages for some sandals for travelling in. I have a penchant for stupidly high wedges (3 pairs) but they're really not very sensible for travelling.

Eventually found these and I'm hopefully going to try these on in Chester this afternoon.....

Don't want flats for travelling in but all the ones, I've seen with this heel height look very "middle-aged ", which I am but.......!! I prefer the ones on the right of the pic "Pryce", but that's just more of the same. Hmm! Still not sure?
