Love lamb's liver, especially lightly panfried in strips with a splash of sherry or in a rice dish I do with a handful of cashews. Used to have stuffed heart as a child and like kidneys too, but it all needs to VERY fresh, so tend to stick to M&S.
I really am not a fussy eater, but offal _pale_0 -
Afternoon all. It's a lovely day here. Want to go out in the garden but there are three 16 year olds smoking (questionable substances) out there. Might take the dog to the park instead.
I love a lot of food now, I didn't used to at all. I love fish too. Not prawns, I don't like the feeling when they sort of.. pop.
At work pretty much every night now. And all day sunday. So my 'at home' outfits will be for slobbing about in and easy to nap in! I hate easter bank holidays, it's exhausting.0 -

KOKORETSI is a traditional Greek meal of lamb offal, served often during the Greek Easter celebrations. We found a little old-fashioned place that cooked it, on holiday in Lefkada a few years ago, people think it sounds gross, but it is actually very very delicious
QUOTE And you will also find a dish that is probably one of the best and most difficult to find greek dish around. It's "Kokoretsi". This is traditionally a dish served during the Greek Easter. It is basically the internal organs of a sheep, wrapped in intestines. Don't let the description turn you off. Greeks outside of Larissa wait a whole year to eat Kokoretsi. In the photograph, Kokoretsi is on the top skewer. The bottom skewer has an entire roast lamb, And the two skewers in the middle have chickens and "Kondosouvli" which is pork tenderloin. By the way, "psistaria" is a category of restaurant. It's a place that has meat cooking on skewers. QUOTE
((Sorry if I've turned a few stomachs))

Mmm, I'll take the bottom two.
Funny that I'll happily eat sausages and burgers though...0 -
