Isn't that a bit likes eggs Florentine? Lost - you should know?

I really like Sophie too, shame she got a slating by the press but I just found her really watchable.

We won the cabin bed. No more shoping for me for a while though, it was much more than we thought we might get it for, but I was in the zone, ready to make changes, get organised and sorting Dylans room out is the first step. The clutter and sleep thing has really been preying on my mind and getting me a little down too, so thought for my sanity we'd just pay what it cost and move forward instead of hanging around for a bargain.

I have just been sorting through the toys and now have separate tubs for different types of toys and a lot to ebay too.

Now need to get the nursery furniture on Ebay too. I'm hoping to make enough to offset the cabin bed a fair bit, so wish me luck!

We're having an intellectual evening today, just finishing watching Wonders of the Solar System and then going to watch yesterday's University Challenge on catch up - I feel ever so clever if I get one right lol!

I'm not sure if I have a girl crush on Sophie Dahl or I just want to be her!
I'm starting to plan my days a bit better. Not doing anything exciting but i'm determind to get myself well on the mend (or at least coping better) for a fresh start in October.
Not really fashion related! But i've changed in to pjs..Calvin Klein pink check PJ bottoms (£4 in TKmaxx a couple of years ago because they had a rip down the seam. ...I still haven't mended the rip!) and black long sleeved top that is far too short to be worn for anything other than sleeping in. Sexyyy!

rips somehow ''make'' pjs into the niht wear equivalent of comfort food.

Righto LIR, thanks for the pep talk!!!

I've done half an hour of stepping to atone for the piggery, plus about an hour and half of walking today, am off for a shower now. And I *will* be good for the next week!!!

Did anyone see Sophie Dahl this evening? I think she's my new girl crush (after Nigella)... but I love the house even more (did I mention that already?). :rotfl:

Apparently the house, which isn't hers, is for sale - wouldn't it be lovely :p

I have to say, that trying to keep up with you all is really hard work! I need someone to give me an abridged version every evening to catch up, when my brain just isn't up to speed after a days work :o:rotfl:

I pay no attention to the press reports - I like watching it and that's good enough for me :D Also the chocolate pot recipe from last week's show is deeeeeeeeeeeelicious!

Whoever it was that said they had a bit of a crush on Professor Brian, I've totally joined his fan club. I didn't see the appeal before but I watched the repeat of yesterday's show tonight and isn't he lovely? :o

I got all the Mexico questions right last night on UC - I didn't know I knew that much about the place :rotfl:

The weirdest thing happened to me...

I started to get a headache, was worried it was going to be a migraine, it started niggling at about 5. I came hime and felt a bit sorry for myself and couldn't have my planned bath extraordinaire because the animals werent ready for bed, so got progressively more sory for self. Anyway, had a shorter bath, took some painkillers and nothing much changes so lay down in the dark and moved awkwardly, my neck made a sort of click, a bit like a clicky joint and a bit like an osteo's torture, and the headache VANISHED!

    whoohooooo

Great news! When I worked for a Chiropractor he used to treat migrane sufferers very successfully with a bit of neck manipulation.

I'll catch up with all the chat tomorrow but right now I've got a book and an early night calling.

    Nighty Night!

Well done on the cabin bed :T, and good luck with your eBaying!

I didn't know that SD had been slated in the press, whatever for??? Perhaps her boyfriend? I must say, the height difference is shocking, but ecah to their own and they seem very in love so good luck to them.

I know, I read about it - £1.45m apparently, a steal! :rotfl: I so want a kitchen like that. I watch all those cooking progs and end up cooing over the kitchen as much as the food! (and the cook too, especially it's James Martin, yummers).

I must try making those choc pots, they look divine! Did you make them Alex?

Professor Brian Cox doesn't do it for me, his lips are a bit creepy (sorry :rotfl:) but I do lurve Professor Iain Stewart ('How the Earth Made Us' etc). He is lush!! Does anyone else like him? I do love these clever science types :D

Yup, I made a slightly amended version with soya cream and dried cherries and cherry vodka. Tasted lovely, even with those substitutions, so I can only assume that making it properly would produce something amazingly delicious.

Aww! I miss all these nice programmes while I'm at work, by the time I settle down I usually end up left with QI or News 24, both seemingly on a loop. Hence my nocturnal witterings on here. ITV player drives me :mad:NUTS:mad: with all the adverts...!!
