Well it's still snowing here...and windy so my planned walk with a friend is off too. We'll probably just go for a tea with the mad old ladies at the fairtrade coffee shop:D.
I will be wearing cosy warm stuff again, but not dressed yet.
Lost- I'm jealous of your chickens. i'd love to have some but it's in the deeds of the house that we can't keep any:(. Another good reason to be moving when Bry goes to Uni.Grocery challenge October: £228.28/£250.00 NSD 4 ( not completed)
Grocery challenge November : £291.65/300.00 NSD 10
Grocery challenge December : £0/240.00 NSD0 -
Ohh Lost, good luck with the eggs, I'd love chickens, I was trying to persuade my grandad he wanted some, and he did...but my nan put her foot down
Have a lovely day, please
My outfit today will be (when I get myself in to it)
Dark denim shorts: new look
Navy tights: DPs
Navy and white striped 1/2 sleeve top: A-wear
Denim shirt: new look
Grey flat boots: primark
clearly favouring double denim at the moment!0 -
oooh, trying not to fall asleep at my desk here lol..
my outfit for the day ended up being:
mint green skirt with floral print in whites and blues..warehouse sale..
pink tshirt with lace shoulder detail, h&m

Morning ladies,
Another bad night from the boy. Bidding ends today on the cabin bed but it's already £46. I have decided to win it at all costs though as the lack of sleep is driving me insane.
I know quite a few of you have sleep problems so it probably sounds really pathetic but I'm an 8 hours plus girl (at least I was up to 2 1/2 years ago).
DH picked up the storage unit last night on the way home from work so I need to go to Ikea to get some tubs to put in it today, oh and would you know it, Ikea is right by a massive Primark...0 -
It's not pathetic Vicki, we all function differently and have different sleep needs.
I think you certainly are in need of some retail therapy avec Primark later, especially as it is your birthday tomorrow0 -

My thoughts exactly.
Alex, did you want me to look out for those cardis? If you do then let me know what they were and size, PM me your number too just in case I get confused while I'm there!0 -
Yes vicki, it's totally NOT pathetic, i consider myself lucky to be honest that i can function fine despite the lack of sleep..well, as it's either that or back onto sleeping tabs, i think it may be a skill i've honed lol..but i know that some people can be really badly affected if they don't get enough sleep..my sister is a total 12 hours a night girl - which is fine whilst she's in uni i guess but probably not for real life afterwards..0
-
I'm generally fine on 4-5 hours, under that and I do flag, like today haha, I'm lagging already
oh well,
shall be off to Tesco soon, should be going to the chemist as well to get my prescriptions but Mum's offered to drive down later and save my legs0 -
sleep is a funny thing. Befor I got ill I actually didn't even go to bed on Monday nights,..any monday night! no time to, and was fine, I'd sleep fiveish hours other good nights. when I got ill I slept, almost literally entirely through a year. and sleep pretty normally now. I try to get 7 hours, more than 8 and I get more tired later in the day.
I think we are told best for health and beauty is not less and not more than 8 hours....I suppose thats what we should all aim for?0 -
Yeah, 8 hours seems a reasonable base figure
right off to tesco,
making the most of mum staying home to pick up some extra bits for her for easter as she's made effort for everyone else
and I'm the only one who has remembered her
(hm, must have word in dad's ear about that!)
anyone else need anything?0
