I have a really geeky addiction to novels set around WW1 and WW2
right now I'm reading one called "the childrens war" and it's so moving.

How much is it? I saw it in a bargain book shop type place today for £7.99 and couldn't work out if that was good or not.0

Me too! Fiction/non fiction/tv/film - anything set in war really. I've just finished Rifles by Mark Urban which is a history of the Rifle Brigade in the Peninsular War - very well written and so interesting.
I've got All Quiet on the Western Front and the Band of Brothers book and a kids novel called (I think) Remembrance all waiting to be read.0 -
Goan- yes I LOVED the boy in the striped pajamas
and Alex- All Quiet on the Western Front is fantastic!
ok I AM OUTTA HERE for now0
