    they are divine shoes Lost.

Theortically I could be going out to lots of ebening stuff every week if I
    1. still had a nippy car
    2. got my act in gear
    3. felt less self conscious about how I look ATM
So therotically evening wear/shoes are not a waste of money here. DH and I used to ''dress for supper'' if not always traditionally too. I don't feel soes are wasteful: and shoes like that will be wearable, if not height of fashion, any time, any year of my life...if I can still walk in them. :)

But yeah, they will make me taller than DH, and I've got to break a mental? barrier. :o Its not that I look atrocious, I don't. I just look so different that people who used to know me don't recognise me, and that can be...uncomfortable for a bit. Also, I'm aware flab ain't a good think in a corporate wife and don't want to reflect badly on DH.:o:o:o DH, for all his not-tall hirsute stockiness is a ''bit of a catch'' and I have strongly had the feeling some of his female colleagues have felt he's fair prey.:o:o

I saw them ages ago...:) I often follow the ..''if hey ar still their in the sale'' method of buying, but I really do think I will wear these a bit. Although, I have to say, was easier when still using stinks...having something to lean on, I took litle short steps round the shoe shop, trying them on :rotfl::rotfl:

    Ohhhhhhh they're lovely.

It makes me sad that you think you'd reflect badly on your DH,
I don't get the impression you ever could :o

I agree with DB, you sound like a wonderful wife and from the comments he makes, I reckon he knows that.

Oh honey, you're far too unique and fantastic to ever reflect badly on anyone. And so what if you're a bit bigger than you used to be. I bet you're still just as gorgeous :)

Aw ((hugs)). The snipey little twigs in his office are probably jealous of your sense of style and personality as well.

Oh no, I accidently just bought a top/dress on ebay. It's just plain white with a zebra on it (i'll take better photos when it gets here.) I paid a little more than i'd have liked to (double figures inc postage) but I don't have any clothes with zebras on..?

Lost - don't ever think you could reflect badly on your DH! He obviously doesn't think so. And I love the shoes!
