yeah it definitely had crept up in price over the past few yrs :S
and i also hate when you get something which has been bumped up in price, with a little sticker over the original tag..new look have started doing that too though, so annoying when you can see the original, cheaper price, through the sticker!

yea, on second look i think it is the same, but the second pic looks rather cheap and tacky :S

alex, were you aware that the IC website now take paypal?? i did an actuall whoop of joy when i read that, much to the amusements of work colleagues lol

:rotfl: I wasn't actually - I tend to pay by debit card with most things cos I'm not an ebay seller so don't tend to have any cash in my Paypal account. Does the site actually work now though? It's always hopelessly temperamental for me.

Morning everyone again...I went back to bed for a couple of hours this morning, I feel so knckered today, no idea why.

Lostin your outfit sounds gorgeous :) Hope you get those shoes

Do you think short people with curves can wear maxi dresses? by short I mean 5 foot 4, and curvey I men size 10 but with hips, thighs and bum!

Daisy - bloods urg I really struggle having blood taken, I hope everything goes alright xxx

PF - thanks for the list, outfit sounds pretty can't wait to see your blog

Vicki - hope you feel better soon xx

Well, I'm only an inch taller and extremely curvy: I love maxis...are they the most slimming? No, but they float around and look glam instead. slim ain't everything.

    Thanks everyone :)

topshop is way overpriced imo or am I just really tight?

I think sometimes: although some of the ranges are quite good. A very dear cyber friend of mine :) has been picked up by top shop and celebs wear her clothes, and if you are chasing current looks top shop prices are better than the equivalent!

eta: as far as I know her stuff is made all in UK too, so good or our economy. she's ace. :)

Db - that is appalling treatment.
If it were me or one of my family, I would phone their office and explain calmly but firmly that you've been waiting x long for this appointment. It is not acceptable to be left a further 3 weeks.

If they don't fit you in straight away then ask for the practice manager, and same again. If no luck then ask for their complaints procedure.

I would also call PALS - I can get the number for you, they are really helpful when things have gone wrong and will help you sort it out.

Please can you do this for youself, I really think you need to see someone before 3 weeks as from what I can tell you are not getting better without them. I'm so worried for you and we would all be so sad if you ended up in hospital. Or worse.

Please let me know if I can help in anyway.

Vicki, thank you...the trouble is (and this is sadly true all over the country) when it comes to eating disorder treatment there is not the trained staff nor resources available to meet the current needs.
    Idk,
I think some kind of complaint will be made but it wont result in a sooner appointment or anything.
Appallingingly a friend was left waiting six weeks before being able to see anyone for any help and her BMI was 10. She is thankfully doing much better now, but it is fairly typical of how it works.
