  • Just catching up.

It's a glorious day here but I'm stuck in cooking and cleaning because we've visitors later. If I kept the house tidier I wouldn't have this mad rush every time.

Lost - I'm so sorry about Clever.

QUEEN - I love the green dress you got from the jumble sale

Magpye - well done with the job.

Vicki - have fun at the jumble sale

I think I'll go to the local carboot tomorrow. OH is at work at 7.30 so I'll get up with him. I've never been any earlier than 10 so I might get some bargains.

thismorning....grey leggings (new most comfortable item of clothing ever, red betty boop t -shirt , bright bue shorts, bright blue cashmere bolero, silver driiving shoes.

Thia afternon, black/white maxi dress, grey cardigan, white & metallic ballet flats.

Hair: wild and loose: my hair looks better a few weeks after colouring, but despite going for relaxed I wasn't planning on quite as much frizz: it still looks ok though. Makeup...minimal..no foundation, just a dab of cream busher, mascara on top lashs and a turquoise ine under eyes (in my weird word the turquise looks weirdy natural, just a bit eye brightening from a disatance, colour up close. )

as always...wil catch up when I can ....hope everyone is havin a good weekend.

    eta: way to go magpye!

Yay Magpye! Hope it goes well.

Goan - forgot to say, the Bollywood cd arrived the other day and it's brilliant. I've had some very funny looks from everyone coming into the kitchen though!

I'm wearing black flared cords, black tunic tee with grey front print and black and grey drapey cardi. It feels ever so strange and uncomfortable to wear trousers, skirts and dresses are just so comfy aren't they or is that just me?

Right, off to make the tea now, I'll catch up with blogs after!

Lost have you tried straightening serum on your hair...I know it sounds odd when you are going for a tousled look but I put some on mine when wet then some mousse when drying ad it gives me nice waves/ curls but without the flyaway frizz!

ETA I love turquoise eye makeup I have on today turquoise eye liner as it really does brighten my eyes/ divert from the dark circles lol
