I'm off to the car boot this morning, it's dry (but cloudy) and low and behold all wonders, the temperature doesn't actually feel too bad out there ! :j I've decided my wardrobe is nowhere near as vast as all of yours so, in order to fully be able to partake in this thread/my personal challenge, then I do need more clothes :p. I know this is supposed to be a money saving site but the change in my outlook has been immense since I joined you lovely ladies so it's a good investment, not only for my wardrobe but for my 'state of mind' too :D. Big THANK YOU again to everyone who contributes, you're all :A xxx

Awww:) Im not being blamed if you end up skint though lol

DB - hope you're OK today and work is over quickly. xx
Had a lovely time swimming, although I could have really done with a lie in!
Just settled down for my second Twinings Sample - this time it's "cleanse" with Spearmint, Milk Thistle and Nettle, just what the docor ordered!

I'm starting to get butterflies about this jumble sale, is it really that dog eat dog?

I haven't been to a jumble sale since I was about 11 or 12. And something got snatched out of my hands! I'd just be very nice to everyone in the queue but be focused on what you want and how you're going to get it! Good luck. :)

I feel awful this morning. Not dressed but i'm going for a summer themed outfit.
Slept through the post office opening hours, oops.

You'll be fine vicki, I was only joking hun ! lol It can be a bit erm ... shoulder bargy? You just gotta stand your ground. It depends really, I've been to some and it's been quite a polite affair but I've also been to others when all manners go out of the window and dear little old ladies, who you'd think wouldn't hurt a fly, suddenly turn into rambo !!!!

It is really good fun though vicki, just approach it with a bit of humour and enjoy ! xx

    Morning girls,

Just had a call back about my job interview, they want me in today for a job trial - just seeing how the shop is when busy and getting to know the layout (won't take too long since it's tiny) - was quite looking forward to a quiet day in with my weights but no luck! Not complaining though. ;)

    Wearing:

    Grey ribbed tights
    Blue patent pumps (La Redoute)
Blue check and floral circle skirt (DP, £3 :D)
Black foil print slouch top (EA gifted)
    Black corset belt

Waiting for my hair to dry off a bit before I stick some slap on. It's all happening so fast, I don't know where I'm at.

Good luck hun, hope it goes well!

I'm not even reporting today's clothes as I look somewhat like a tramp. I didn't realise it was so much effort to dress properly - I can't keep it up 7 days a week!

Bought a gorgeous skirt and earrings in Tesco. Whoops, so much for no more clothes purchases this month!

Dying to hear how the jumble goes, Vicki! Depends on the area really. Some I go to are fairly okay, just mild barging and shoulder charges whereas some are horrendous, stuff being grabbed from your arms and being called horrific names if the regulars don't like the look of you. (Mind you, that might be just us rough Midlanders. The South may be more refined.)

Good luck, Magpye - great result, sounds like your outfit bowled them over.

Alex- I'm taking a break from style today as I've decided on a spring clean blitz followed by a slob out on the settee with "An Education", The Guardian and a massive cheese sandwich. I will make an effort to smarten up my act before I hit the town later, tho'.
