I've just had a laugh out loud lightbulb moment when I got dressed after a shower, I'm wearing a knee length black ruched up skirt, a black cami with a purple cami with crochet bits over it, a black draped jersey cardi, thick purple tights with huge holed fishnets (what are they called?) over and biker boots. I really AM just a sad old goth which is why I can't put an outfit together to save my life. I pull a handful of seemingly normal clothes out of my wardrobe, put them on and hey presto! Instant goth - my blog name isn't such a joke after all. My mission now is to be comfortable with that...

You always look great in your blog pics - don't be calling yourself sad or old! As for goth, I rather like goth style. And if it suits you and you're happy in it, what's the problem? :)

I am indeed! In fact I have three :rotfl:

Would you mind telling a makeup thicko what to do with it? :o It looks and sounds good and for the price it seems worth a try. Dunno about which shade to pick or what to do with it though!

I just use a teeeeny amount on my cheeks as a sort of glowy look type thing. I think to start with the white one is the best as it is very subtle and gives a lovely dewy look :)

Thanks Alex - I've got to put this outfit on my blog it's amused me so much even though I really like it!

Love the shoes, I haven't been to Matalan in a while actually..
Just thought i'd pop in and say hi. Charity shopping was a let down! Only got two books. So went in to DP and bought two rings and a necklace (all 50% off) and Topshop and bought the one size skirt I posted yesterday. Will be trying it on later.
Blood tests came back with no problems and I can't get another appt till next week, stress!

Wearing my Topshop grey knitted jumper with two white swallows on. I love it. :) I was wearing jeans all day but my legs ache so i've changed to jogging bottoms. They don't go but i'm not planning on going anywhere!

Right, off back to my dads. I'll catch up tonight

Hello all. Am just sat in the car showroom whilst my dad test drives a car, catching up..it's been a suprisingly tiring day considering all we did was drive up to north Wales to check on the newly landscaped garden (done last week) and then to llanwrst for a meeting, then on our way home now via garage where dads car being serviced..
Am rather secretly glad my friend just txt to cancel the cinema plans we had for the evening, as I'm major sleepy and full of cold :(

hope all went well daisy xx

Retro - couldn't you just get a standard length slip from a charity shop and chop it off? I've done that before.

Goan - I love Bollywood but haven't got a clue where to start! Love your link.

I'm with Alex, I love your style. One of my mates is still sporting the same punk look as he did thirty years ago, New York Dolls tees, bondage pants, leather biker jacket and black mohawk. We wouldn't have him any other way.

A great album for vintage Bollywood is this compilation:

It's the most cheerful album in the world. I used to play it at work and dance on my desk to cheer up my colleagues.

Thanks for the sympathy :) does anyone know if I need to go to the doctor or does this sort of thing just clear up on its own?? I am clueless. My DS's dad just popped by with some cranberry juice and mini eggs! What a man.

Ooh I'm off to check out the Matalan website, I've never been to the shop!

You ought to see the doctor hun as it can travel from bladder to kidneys which is ten times the pain. Doc will test to see if it is an infection and sort you out with antibiotics
