Thanks Kandi. I can't say for sure but I do think our DB puts on a brave face of things and I know that letters and everyone's support are really helping.

    Morning all..
Thanks for the update on DB vicki. I'm glad you managed to see her!
Off to pick up a friend in an hour or so to take her to the shops in the next town, as she doesn't drive but wants to take some clothes back..
Haven't given the rest of the day much thought as yet..

    Afternoon all!
The football at work last night was really good actually, shame about the score. I love love love working in trainers!

After getting in at 1.30am, getting to sleep about half 2 I made it up in time for the boot sale. Drove there and it wasn't on.. I'm a bit gutted and very tired. Been to Primark and got a blue floral dress for £7.50 and a new duvet cover for my room at my dad's for £4.

Such a rubbish day and i'm losing the motivation to do anything.

    Afternoon All!

I'm feeling pleased with myself today as not only have I made myself a bikini using a 1960's dressmaking pattern and a 20p piece of vintage fabric snaffled from the boot sale yesterday but I've also had a massive clearout of my bedroom and taken 100 photos for eBay. Must be the frustration from last night's footie match!

At the moment I'm wearing a bird print strapless dress refashioned from a vintage nightie and some neon pink and black chandelier earrings plus stacks of bangles and my usual rings.

    Glad Daisy's doing well.
    Sorry about the chickens, Daydream.

    Bump-its rule!!

Had a very weird experience earlier when a bottle of perfume I'd taken from Mum's bedroom launched itself across the bathroom and hit me in the back, I'm now sporting a huge bruise on my right-hand side. That's the second time recently an inanimate object has moved without any contact from me.....freaky.

  • Thanks for the update on Daisy, Vicki.

It's my daughter's graduation in July, any suggestions as to what I should wear?

    Hi all,

Vicki - glad your visits to see Daisy well went, thanks for the updates.

Goan - woah, that's freaky indeed, gosh!

Went to see Snow Patrol at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow yesterday. It was brilliant - they were so good live. Great atmosphere. A few pics in the usual place.

    xx

Oh I could scream. I've borrowed a laptop from work for a training I'm going on tomorrow and had loaded it up with the files I need to do some prep this afternoon. Stupid thing now won't turn on and unless I can find some magic way to make it work I'm going to have to get to work at 7am tomorrow, do all the prep at high speed, find another laptop and then drive 40 miles to the training. Oh and ring the IT people at 9am to get them to put Firefox on it as I can't do the training without it. Argh!!!! I hate technology.
