I think you should implement a dress code :D

I'd love to have been born earlier as I have such a thing for men in hats and overcoats.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I love the races, but I'm more of a winter racing gal.

I booked he movers today, for the stuff in storage, and he's going to take some of the stuff from my parents house too. Its annoying, we are still going to have to do it in a couple of loads as we have so many time restrictions going on. I would have liked to either do it in one or n little bits ourselves, two big moving days sounds more stress ful, sure i will all be ok though. Tonight is definitely laundry night here, I'm really struggling for anything clean !

Just got home, one of the guys fom work told me about a quicker route, and it was by about ten mins..off to the shops and then a friends house for tea and DVD I think.
Felt lie a shoe freak kn the way home, basket full of: two pairs ic's, one pair gold glitter brogues, my purse, diary and two parcels lol

PF - those gold glitter brogues are the most fabulous thing I've seen in ages. They're so cool - can't wait to see them in an outfit post.

When I worked in London, the company I worked for sent a colleague and me to Newbury Racecourse one Saturday to man a stand selling the company's products in one of the marquees. The atmosphere was brilliant - my one and only time at the races. We got a little tipsy on Pimm's though and ended up offering everyone discounts! Think it cost the company more to have us there than they ended up making - oops!

Tonight for me is a night in with M&S ready meal, rose wine and Corrie - bliss! I'll be on and off here this evening looking for company if anyone's around!

Hope you've got a good weekend planned.

:) NN Sarah, I'm sat here on my tod too. Been spending money I can't afford on handbags and fabric on ebay. When I got in tonight I had a letter from Daisy, she sounds well and wishes you all well, she is missing you all.

  • I haven't been on for a few days so had a bit of catching up to do.

Vicki, thanks for the update on Daisy, I'm glad she's doing OK.

PF, those doggy shoes are lovely.

Lost, your move sounds to be getting hectic now.
Guess what? A fox took our hens yesterday :(. I don't think we'll get any more until we've cut the hay because there's too much cover at the moment. It wouldn't be so bad if there weren't loads of rabbits it could have got instead.
