Oh, I hadn't seen that - thanks, might just treat myself.

Sun shining, hope it lasts til Saturday as I'm going to an outdoor gig (Editors, Snow Patrol).

What to wear today to cope with sun and freezing office air con? Will need to be layers. Off to check what's not needing ironed...

Have a great day - it's almost Friday!

Hi girls, just a quick update, I saw DB yesterday and she is as lovely as expected. The unit is a much nicer place than I had imagined with a lovely private garden and separate rooms. She seems to be doing well and chatted away about the groups and sessions she's been doing and how the girls in there have all bonded well. I didn't stay too long as I know how tired she gets but I'm going to visit again before I leave and hope to take Dylan to meet her next time.
I will of course pass on everyone's warm wishes.

Thanks for the update Vicki, those places are not half as bad as people imagine. Glad she is getting along ok, I know it will be so hard for her but it is essential.

    Hi All!

Great to hear a Daisy update. Hope things are improving for her.

I'm currently wrapping eBay stuff. There's a lot of idiots out there this week, winning stuff three days ago, not paying then sending messages telling me they urgently need things for a festival this weekend...grrr! Perhaps they'd like me to deliver to their tents on saturday morning?

It's a day of eBaying ahead as the weather's too dire for boot sales. I'm out later for beer and curry, yipee! My Wii Fit reckons I'm a Muscle Legend and a Yoga Master today, laying off the alcohol for four days must have worked wonders!

    Today's outfit:
Vintage 60's psychedelic tunic (courtesy of Helga)
Cut off denim jeans (£1 charity shop)
    Gladiator sandals (150 rupees, India)
Usual bangles, rings and earrings (India)
....plus a generous squirt of Chloe as one of my friend's boyfriends runs a lab and is currently testing perfumes, so lots of freebies!!!

    Have a happy thursday
    Goan

ooh, talking of finding things you had forgotten about - i was wrapping up all the little sis' parcels last night, and came across a bag of vintage costume jewellery i picked up for £1 at a car boot a few weeks ago..i bought the whole lot as they wanted rid, but only wanted one or two of the necklaces, not sur ehwat to do with the rest, but there's loads of bits and pieces..
