I'm aware I end up sounding like Their sponsor most of the time, but primark did have some nice lightweight blazers. I'm afraid Im not sure about the colours, didn't look tht closely as I know it's not a style which suits me, but they may be worth a try.
Have also seen them in new lo0k although not that recently.

Been in to Primark today and they had lightweight jersey type ones for £13 in black, navy and striped. I also sound like one of their sponsers atm too!
Had a really good shopping trip today. I bought:
Black and white striped body con skirt - Miss Selfridge £9
Grey studded bag - H&M £13
Black boots - River Island £8.45.
Stiped anchor dress / top - New Look £7

The boots are still in store at £40 and I love them. These were £8 as one has been in the window and is faded. They're suede, does anyone know how I can make it darker again? They're not that different actually and are so comfy I might not care.

The wedding was not as tacky as expected, and good fun. Of course I looked lovely lol!

I'm going to Bristol tomorrow, just me and Dylan as DH can't get time off work and I really want to see my Nan for her birthday. it'll be a good chance to catch up[ with a few old friends too.

If someone who has Db's mobile number doesn't mind texting her my number I'd be really grateful, I don't think she'd mind that. Pm me and I'll let you know it.

I'm still not properly packed for our trip so I'd better get some sleep and do it early in the morning if I plan to leave just after rush hour. It was a bot hit and miss as to whether I was going or not as DH's car was not working properly yesterday so he took my car to work, fortunately it got fixed today so I can take my car after all!

Vicki - glad the wedding was good.

Got a client in today, so off to find someone smart-ish to wear. Guess a black dres never goes wrong. Only worry is what to wear on my feet as it's still chucking it down here. Might wear boots and change into heels at work - knee-high winter boots in June, dear oh dear!

DB sent me a text this morning and I'm going to visit today. It will be so nice to meet her at last.
It's my Nan's 98th birthday today too so we're going out for dinner so another busy, tiring but lovely day ahead!

Things are truely bad on the clothes front here. I've put on the mainly orange summer dress that DH shrunk in the wash. I've sone sonme stress eating in the last month, in a very clever way: I've had some social and ''business'' commitments which I've organised at lunchtimes to enable to eat with out feeling guilty (my health condition means I cannot really eat anything like normally)and put on more weight. ombined with less exercise I'm feeling pretty grim.

On the plus side I have some woven brown/gold flat shoes I've found waiting to be worn this summer. I'll wear them today to ''break them in'' the woven pattern digs in a little so I hope that softens quickly
