Oh anyone looking for BRIGHT nail colours, Tesco have some gorgeous ones in their Babara Daly range,
though £3 for a small bottle isn't very MSE compared to Barry M!

I've just found a love for Barry M - Raspberry. I think it's the perfect colour I was looking for, only better!

Thanks gang :D I tried the spotty dress on to show Mum and was really childishly pleased by how swirly it was. Am I turning into a girly girl?! But the best thing is that almost everything is a size 16, woohoo!! You have no idea how cheerful it makes me feel.

The ditsy print tea dress thing from Primark needs to go back as I had to grab an 18 without trying it on (nowt else left on the rail except size 8s, grr!) and it's gorgeous on but far too big. So that's good but having to go and return it isn't. Might try and nip down after work tomorrow if they're open till 7pm. They had it in blue in my size but I preferred the black. Wrong choice, clearly.

Daisy - isn't it fab?! Sort of nautical too which is quite handy. I only went down to the men's floor to give Dad some style advice and saw it hanging there and went "Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!" (yes, loudly, in public, I have no shame) and threw it in my basket :rotfl:

*will be dragging her Mum to the men's department Saturday*

    :p

oh trust me, I know how amazing it feels to go down sizes; I mean, before I got stuck in this hell I was a size 18/20 and getting down to a 14/16 was the best feeling EVER.

I just wish I'd stayed there.

As someone who was once a size 20 I totally get the feeling you have gotten slipping on those 16's!

    Evening lovely ladies,

Alex, wow what a shop! I love the dresses :j. Just been reading your blog. Some fantastic buys there - you've gone and made my resolve not to visit primark totally disappear :p. I can't get there until next weekend anyway so it might wear off before then :rotfl:.

I can echo what others have said about getting into smaller sizes - I remember the last time I lost weight (roll eyes smiley here), went to try a size 14 and it was too big ..... I think my daughter actually picked my bottom jaw up off the floor in the changing room for me :rotfl:. I'll be back there one day ;), hopefully soon. I lost another 1.5lb tonight (22 in total now :j).

Choccy, sorry to hear about the guinea piggy. Sounds like you had a lovely little 'goodbye' ceremony. xx

I'm sitting here drinking some redbush vanilla tea so thank you to whoever mentioned it (a few of you I think?) It's devine !

I think I need to paint my nails more often. Vikki, I love that colour you had on today.

Do you ladies change your nail varnish daily to match your outfit? I can see me not getting to bed very early, my beauty routine is taking longer by the day because of you lot ! :rotfl:

Ah, I almost forgot. I've popped some pics of my garden antics up on my blog - I'd like to start a gardening one but not sure if I'll have the time to keep it up to date. Maybe a once a week post to start with.
    :jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j

God no I barely paint my nails (well always have toe nails done but not fingernails) and when i do they only last a day- too much washing up I think! Id be demented if I tried to match my nails to my outfit lol

ETA well done on the weight loss *claps*
