I'm back and I'm knackered! We won't discuss how much I spent in Primark...

Ooh, tea - they had something very similar to that airmail purse in Accessorize today :)

Its amazing how those little 1.00 and 1.50's add up isnt it? Bet you got loads though!

Ahh choccy. Im so sorry about the guinea piggy :( How are the kids taking it?

Youngest is fine, eldest is quite upset so we have lit a candle and released a balloon to say goodbye.

Bit worried as we have one guinea pig left who we have to keep an eye on in case he has it too! So we can't introduce a new one yet so hope he doesn't get lonely or ill :-(

Oh Choccy, your poor little boy, he must be so sad. I'm dreading the day when something happens to our girls more so because how it will affect Dylan. What a lovely idea to send a balloon off.
Sounds like an exciting evening, what are your work colleagues wearing? From when I worked in Social Services I remember them up in the Ivory tower being pretty stuffy and boring clothes wise so I'd say play it quite safe unless you know otherwise!

Oh, sorry to hear about the poor guinea pig, Choccy. It's always so upsetting when pets die.

Well, I got two loads of washing done and nine parcels packaged and off to the Post Office. Days like this I could really do with the car, but DH is on a thirteen hour shift and it's not fair for me to complain really. Bought a huge bottle of PVA glue and some reduced Mat Stacks for crafting. Paper collection is now officially over-the-top. Frozen because it was dark when I was walking home, so having some gorgeous chilli chai (last tea bag, sob sob) and then going for my second shower of the day. I will think about clothes at some point today...!

Hi Vicki, 2 of the people are quite stuffy but the exec head has fab dress sense and always wears lovely shoes. My colleagues will be wearing a mixture of clothes depending on what they are doing during the day, basically will be attending to support me and my 2 co-ordinators now that it has grown into a large event.
2 of the consultants will be wearing suits as that's all they wear. The others will be smartly dressed, however I have always been a little alternative shall we say, and don't own a suit since I went down 2 sizes, so will be wearing knitted dress etc, will take some hair gunk and funk it up a bit and add a little bit of make up.
My job is crazy one day I could be having to wear full waterproofs and walking/ safety boots then have to change into presentable clothes for the afternoon, back into casual clothes for lecturing in the evening to relax the students

We did the balloon thing when his Nan and rabbit died, he ties a goodbye message to it. Was something that was suggested on a counseling course a few years back

Love the blue flowery dress Alex! We had one of them at home in a size 18, no idea if they'll be getting any more in. :(
I like that you had a list too. That is something I need to do more of when it comes to shopping.
