    Morning,

Overcast here but hopefully it will brighten up. Going to try outfit of:

    Black lace top
    Khaki shorts
    Black ballet pumps

Might not work as the top might look too smart to be with the shorts, which are more of a cargo style but I'll need to put it on to see - I have no visualisation skills whatsoever!

It's Friday - yay!!!!!! Have a good day.

Morning , bright and sunny - had to close the curtains the sun was blinding;)

Off work eith the DS's again today so the day ahead will consist of them playing out with friends - probably a few fallings out and arguments here and there, raiding the kitchen cupboards so the usual;) and I'll be in the garden with a book:D

Still in pj's at the minute but def shorts and vest day today or even primark playsuit from yesterday:p

Oooh piratefairy yes please! I still have a UK bank account, so can easily transfer some money before you next go! What a lovely offer, thank you! I'd need a 14.

I'd love to reciprocate but I can't imagine there's much you want bought in Australia is there? :o

Alex - I love all the new things, and glad you managed to change the dress, sandals are fab too!!
My comments still don't work and I don't know how to fix them, did yours just start working again???

Almo, I don't think i'll get time to go till Thurs eve now, but I will definitely look for you then :)

ETA - not really australia-wise, as I cannot stand UGGS! lol (which seems to be the main thing my friends want bringing back when anyone goes!)

Kandi that skirt is lovely. I used to wear skirts like that quite a lot to work, usually with a girly blouse, cardi or vest top and cardi. I had a lovely white ruffly blouse with black polka dots and bib front that would look great with your one.

PF, what a great result for your evening, it's always good when friends from different circles get one well!

I've been a bit quiet this last week and have been outdoors in the sunshine the last few days.

Getting ready for the wedding on Tuesday too. I bought some clip in hair extensions which turned up yesterday. Firstly I was amazed at how well the colour matched, it's seamless and I can't get over how glamourous and swishy may hair is with them in!
I had "proper" glued in extensions for a year just after I got married and had dark brown hair and would rate the clip ins over them.

I know extensions have a hugely tacky reputation but I just wanted a little more oomph rather than the scraggy Rapunzel look! I'm planning on wearing my hair in loose waves with a side parting and a braid across the fringe to keep my hair off my face.

I'd just be grateful for you to keep an eye out whenever you next find yourself there, don't want you to make a special trip! I may not post much but I read religiously and I know how busy you are.

Haha, I'm not much of a fan of UGGS myself, although I've never tried a real pair on. How do you feel about Tim Tams?

vicki, i think that they can look really nice, so long as the colour matches well (duh!) and there isn't glue everywhere..i think the tacky reputation probably stems to the "chavvy" types and is more aimed at the wearer iyswim...

and i was really nicely suprised with the fact that they got on well..had been a little wary as i hadn't seen my "girl" friend for ages, so we had a lot to catch up on, but the ex knows much of what has been going on with my life, (we talk quite a lot recently which is nice)..so we were all able to talk about our respective gossip iyswim lol and it ended up being not at all awkward which was great..
