Had a fab time at the costume ball last night but I left the camera in the car so no pics. Shame because there were fairy wings and fab frocks everywhere, even pointy latex ears!

Sorry Daydream, totally ignored your question there, I get most of my jumpers from a market stall that sells mostly used jumpers and they always have yummy good quality stuff and they are cheap (£1.99 jumpers, £2.99 cardis) but I do go to charity shops too, which is obviously more time consuming. I've tried our local car boot sale but only found scratchy acrylic things. I'm getting that I can spot a wool knit from a mile away!

Hello all, hope everyone is having a nice weekend, I drove up to Wales early today tk have a ether lazy day with parents / little sis..opened presents etc and went out for bday lunch at the local Italian, where they had got me a bday cake like a giant French fancy cake
am now having a snoozy afternoon reading lol I think the last few days have caught up with me :-/
Today's outft is:
lavender lacy/tulle ruffle dress (which I fell for in primark yday!)

I'm flattered you think the colours I use go together daydream! Actually, as I proved with a skirt I made the other night out of all the big scraps I had lying around, everything goes when you overlock it together - some kind of weird sewing magic.

Had a fab lunch with best friend on Saturday and a lovely family lunch on Sunday.

Glad you got to CSI PF, you will have to let us know what lovely bits you got for your birthday.
I got dressed this morning in a black strappy sun dress with bright flowers on the hem and leggings and went outside to peg put the washing and it is blooming freezing! The sun is splitting the sky but it is decieving, I'm off to a bank holiday boot sale this afternoon so I might swap leggings for jeans, add a vest under this dress and a little denim jacket. Will a hat and scarf look mad in May? lol
