Refit external door

Hello

I have a PVC external door which has been obviously been fitted by a DIYer. The putty/sealant round the frame is an absolute mess and all over the place. Ideally, i'd like to just replace the whole door, but i'm planning on moving on soon, and don't want to spend more money on the house. Is it okay to refit a door to tidy it up? What can i expect to pay for this? Would it be a joiner?

Thank

In my area we have a 'Window Doctor'. He just does repairs to uPVC windows and doors etc. Try your local paper and see if someone similar exists in your area. This type of person may be the best bet.
Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.
  • Try any small UPVC window companies, seem to be popping up everywhere, they might do it for a fair price.
