npower Loyalty discount ???
Options
Hi,
does anyone know if npower actually rolled out the loyalty discount they trialled lat year?
It looked likes £100 per year but you have to actually request it.

Have they not offered this for ages? £105 theseadays, £80-odd a while ago?
And as far as I see it it is not a 'loyalty' bonus it is an integral part of their price - they would be completely uncompetitive without it being built in to the tariff. That it is a flat-rate discount rather than a percentage discount may yield advantages for customers with lower consumptions but for their average user nPower would be blown down the comparison tables without it - from second-equal place to fifteenth place in my region.0 -
So its just their DD discount?
I was thinking it was something else but i'm probably wrong as if this was on top of the DD it would make them crazy cheap.0 -
Nope its not a DD discount, you only receive it if you make 12 monthly installments by DD. If you left after 10 mths you wouldnt be entitled to it0

<scratches head> <confused> You pay by direct debit you receive the discount. You do not pay by direct debit you do not receive the discount. But it is not a direct debit discount!? Paying by direct debit may be only one criterion but paying by direct debit is certainly a necessary criterion.0
